"I usually don't like starting these types of threads"...However, the Big 12 is such a shitty conference with virtually zero vitality below the top two teams....as a matter of fact that conference just fawking sucks.

The Big 12 DOES NOT deserve to be represented in the MNC game with a one loss team. Please look to the SEC.

Rutgers would win the Big 12. :SIB

If Florida wins out they will go. Same with USC. Texas needs both of these teams to lose again because their CPU ranking is poor and it isn't going to improve much.

I also think a one loss Michigan team might slide in before Texas if Michigan plays OSU closely in Cbus.

I don't know who deserves to go, but I do know Auburn and ND shouldn't even be in the discussion if UM and OSU both win this weekend. IMO those still under consideration (assuming UM/OSU win this w/e) should be UM/OSU loser, Florida, Arkansas, USC, Cal and Texas.

who knows who deserves to go, this system is a joke, and ohio state is my favorite team... if ohio state wins against michigan, it will probably be florida or usc if they win out....

The Big 12 and the Big 10 are the weakest they've been in a long time this year. Looks like Illinois is really making a push in the Big 10, now thats intimidating - lol.

Makes me wonder about the validity of claims that the Big east is so weak. It really just goes to show the bias a lot of people have towards their favorite conference.

I think its a bit overdealous to call the B10 weak when OSU and UM did what they did to Texas/ND and Wisci has one loss. Especially when you consider that "overrated" Wisci team rolled Auburn last year in a bowl game. Top heavy? Yes. Weak? Absolutely not.

Also, can you tell me how exactly Illinois is "making a push"? They have one win league play this year. They are certainly improved from where they were two months ago, but get a hold of yourself.

Damn, now the michigan/OSU winner needs to have one of those schools lose or they will be shut out of bcs champ. game.

The system suck regardless of who goes.

USC might go if they win out. FLorida needs help.

The computers hate Texas but the Horns will keep gaining ground as other games ar eplayed. Florida is about to get hammered when it plays Wester Carolina. It is all very complicated but if Texas moves to 2 in human polls after Miich/Ohio State odds are they are in.

If USC wins out AND jumps Florida/Auburn in human polls its computer numbers may well put them past Texas or Mich/OSU loser.

Take out Mich, Wisconsin and OSU and tell me who you think is the next best team.

I'd say Penn State (good defense, avg offense, similar to a Rutgers). Then you have Iowa/IU/Purdue lumped together, then Minny/MSU (lousy but dangerous any given week), then Illinois/NW.

None of the "good" big least teams would beat Texas or even Oklahoma. Fact is there is alot of bad football out there, and an argument can be made against everybody.

To elaborate on my earlier post, absent funny stuff in the human polls, Florida wont stay ahead of Texas at the end unless it also gets a loss from Auburn. USC will almost certainly have to pass both Auburn and Florida in the human polls. If it wins out and does that they are better than 50/50 to get in.

But there are so many variables that impact these teams. Say Rugers loses next week...they are already behind most of the one loss teams in the computers, but ahead of Texas in most. So that loss helps Texas yet doesnt help the others. Same thing could be said for many other games that wouldnt seem to matter.....

The big question mark is what do the human voters do. WIll there be voters who punish Texas or Michigan/OSU to make sure the title game isnt a rematch from earlier in the year? Does Auburn lose votes even by winning out because it isnt in the SEC title game? how high does Arkansas go by winning out, and so on.

All the slotting makes a huge difference and every vote makes a difference. We can ridicule the system and be fair in doing so. But we would have the same problem right now trying to decide weho belongs in a 4 or 8 team playoff and how to seed them.

The only thing I have noticed lately is a lot of pissed off WV fans that listened for 2 weeks how they were worlds better than Louisville, then they got embarrased, and now the team that beat em lost to a team that was inferior to their talent......now it has left WV fans wondering if they will buy the plane tickets to go watch their team play in some hole in the wall bowl right around Christmas........

2 things

1. Damn right we will buy plane tickets to go watch our team play the bowl game.

2. OSU fans, your turn is coming next weekend.

do they teach reading comprehension in west virginia? apparently not.

I attained both my goals:

1. To mock Gman and get a reaction

2. To bait sun boy into his homerism

mission accomplished. :mj07:

To answer the question about who represents BE if there is a three way tie...the higher ranked team according to BCS.

Which most likely will be WVU...then WVU can pound another conference champion and become preseason #1 next season :sadwave:

Pretty funny comment saying the big 12 is weak. Rutgers would get rolled by Texas and OU.

OK, if you wanna say take out OSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin and the big 10 isn't anything. Well take out Florida, LSU, and Auburn and the SEC isn't anything.

Take out Louisville, WV, and Rutgers and the Big East is garbage.

So what?
