Brathwaite will not be in net tonight, after he reinjured his groin in practice on Monday. Instead it will be Reinhard Divis, the Blues' top minor-league goalie last season.

Davis, who will be the first Austrian-born player to start an NHL game, played 25 minutes in a game against Colorado last season in his only NHL appearance, but saw a lot of action this preseason because of a groin injury to Brathwaite and an ankle sprain to starter Brent Johnson.

The 27-year-old Divis appeared in six games this preseason, posting a 2-2-0 record. He had a .909 save percentage and a 2.43 goals-against average. In his first four games, he allowed three goals on 55 shots.

Canadians defenseman Patrick Traverse is expected to see his first action of the season tonight, replacing rookie Ron Hainsey, according to the CP.
