Yeah, I did
Yeah, I did
I posted this news in a reply in your Jan. 10th post; in fact - you replied to it
I also bookmarked the site that you found that news in, thank you for that.
Very sorry to see that news; I really enjoyed going to A.C. as part of hitting the N.J. shore many moons ago. Like I wrote in your thread, "they had little chance of surviving with the casinos down the road and with OTB and internet going on". I got my fingers crossed that Philly ain't next and it wouldn't surprise me if it is (maybe Penn National?).
The Philly crew, jocks, trainers, owners and many of the hosses take their "vacation" in A.C. every year, similar to the way the Metropolitan N.Y. twacks hit Saratoga in Aug. every year. It'll be interesting to see what Philly does now since the gameplan was for them to take that vacation this year in April methinks.
G.L. at Gulfstream or whatever twack you focusing on these days. Going back a bit to the days when it was Hialeah, Calder, Gulfstream... the last one on that list was the toughest place for me to find a wiener. I don't touch that place except if I get interested in a big stake race there and that hasn't even happened for me for the past two seasons.
