Bucs, i tried drinking as much as i could to piss. It worked once and the other time i stopped pissing and just kept puking. 1 gallon? i think i drank about 4. My advice is sit in a recliner and take the pain pills till u piss and it passes. Nothing much more u can do unless u go to the emergency room. These fukers hurt so much that i have a special pack of pain pills so im always prepared in case one fires up again. Mine was calcium related so the days of ice cream or calcium supplements are over. Haven't had one in about three years. I think Stevie said he had over ten of these nasty fukers.

I They have a medication they can give you in the ER that will stop the pain in 15 minutes. Important that you have it checked for infection. Other than that not much they do unless they think it is too big for you too pass.
I've had to pass 2 and one got blown up with lithotripsy. All depends on where the stone is, if they can blow it up or not.
Passed one at home, by myself, thought I was dying. Had to crawl into the bathroom.
Other one, I got to the hospital, they gave me Toradol which helped a ton and hooked me up to IV and it passed with much less pain than the one at home.

Yeah I had knee surgery august 25th. I haven't really been required to take any of the pain pills for about 3 weeks now. Then this fucker flares up.
I thought about maybe going to the ER and having them see if maybe I don't have a kidney infection.
I would call your doctor and ask for a script for anti - nausea medication.

It's not the pain that really bothers me, it's mostly the nausea that's tough to deal with.
They gave me a prescription to CEPHALEXIN for the nausea. Hopefully that will do that trick. I can't keep anything down without throwing up though!

I never had that problem with stones. I have thrown up because of the pain yes but not after the pain would be in the "no problem" problem stage.
I would get that checked out if I was you. The stone doesn't make you puke, the pain does.
Just got home from the ER. They hooked me up to the IV to hydrate me and give me 2 doses of nausea meds. The doctor said the stone is about 4mm and it's close to passing and he thinks that the stone is what's making me nauseous. Gave me a script for vicodin and nausea meds instead of percocet in case the percocet was making me sick.

Got it taken out in the hospital and they had to put a stent in because of the swelling so it wont close up and cause infection.
Pissing blood for about two weeks. I mean red all the way.
So finally I go back to have the stent taken out. The Dr pulls out a contraption that looks like Edward Scissirhands , gives me a sedative on my dick, and proceeds to go up my penis with that huge fawking contraption with no pain meds.
Seriously I wanted to kill that fawker.
Bottom line if you have a large stone that wont pass get the litotripsy.

Let a Dr put this up your pee pee without no pain meds.
It needs to go about 3 ft up to the kidney area and they twist it around until he is able to grab the stent.

I agreed, not knowing that I was agreeing to a procedure that was infinitely different from my previous experiences. A week after surgery, I had the stent
removed in the doctor's office. No pain medication was administered. The removal of the stent
was one of the most painful events I have ever experienced. Twice during the procedure, my bladder was filled with water. This was also extremely painful.
Is there justification for conducting such a procedure without measuires to abate the extres pain that it causes?

Took a nice power nap after leaving the ER. Those meds really helped, but they also helped the same when I went in Friday night and the nausea didn't kick in until Monday. So I guess I'll see how this works and feels tomorrow.
I definitely don't want no needles or anything shoved up my you know what. The pain isn't the shitty part, like I said, but the nausea is what has sucked.
