The only time since June that Roenicke started Kotsay in a game vs Cardinals was 8/11 vs Carpenter. And he went 2 for 3 with a double & a walk

awsome lets throw an over the hill guy out there into one of the most important defensive positions because in june he got lucky and got 2 hits. all while leaving your biggest spark plug on the team nyjer morgan on the bench.
