Skeeter,

Went back and read some of your posts. Why the hatred man? You sound like a man stressed out on the verge of a breakdown. Not trying to be mean. You may need a vacation or cut down on the hours. Working 12 hour shifts everyday is not healthy. Just saying.
I wouldn't spend too much time in the Safeway parking lot in Skeeter's neighborhood, BP (if you know what I'm saying)... :SIB

I must have missed that. If skeeter is a therapist, what the fuck is the world coming to? Imagine going to him for help.
Maybe you missed Skeeter's starring role here, Tramp...

DTB,
interesting points you bring up

as for polygamy, if a guy and girls want to deal with the extra headaches, i say so be it

its probably not law b/c its less common and outside of a specific populations , it hasn't sparked enough interest..if the law is able to account for what happens in polygamous marriage situations in terms of divorce , inheritance, benefits, etc, then i have no problem with it

incest, yes i think its gross but that should not preclude it from being legal...birthing issues and recessive gene expression is a problem with that..but that is a very interesting point with many counterarguments that has got me thinking

anyway, i ramble, i didnt even watch the grammys this year, and im glad if that is the type of shit winning

Its a tough subject Greg--I am a big supporter of your live and let live philosophy--and sympathize with gays on many abuses they have had to live with in the past.

I don't care for gov dictacting rules on fed level whether they be Dem or Rebs. I believe the people in their respective states should dictate their laws via democratic process --called the vote--without gov trying to trump them.

Have never saw the nation as divided as it is now and believe enhancement of states rights would solve problem. Neither side will change their views therefore- back to the live and let live--or to each their own.

We have basically foks on the same side of issues of gay marriage-public employee unions--illegals--entitlements-big gov-taxes etc.

We need to let each state dictate their stance and then let the people choose and live with the consequences of their convictions of their budget on their tax revenue.

We could all live in the friendly confines of our respective base--without interference from the other. The ultimate of-to each their own!

I could not disagree more. This is not a state issue it is a national issue. How can a marriage be legal in ione state and not another? How can you deny people the right to live and work in a state that doesn't allow gay marriage when another state does. No matter what side of the fence you are on this issue it is a national issue.

This country ws founded on principles of equality. The debate about rights of homosexuals should end there. The same guys that want to preserve gun laws citing the constitution, totally disregard that all men are created equal. Seriously, WTF?

You are almost 100% correct Cie,

I agree on the equality issue, :0074

There are many issues though when comparing gun laws to marriage rights and civil unions...

First being, if you take it on a State to State basis:

Example: Arizonas much more LIBERAL Gun Rights  Kind of an Oxymoron huh? Compare to California's more Liberal Guna Laws.... :scared Vs. The More Liberal Homosexual Marriage Rights (laws) of CA to Az.

Utilizing the Constitution as a Big Iron to balance to 2 issues, is that really possible?

Could one take a CCW from AZ and a the very same semi-auto from the safeway parking lot to CA? Good luck with that?

On the same hand could an anal retentative city like Sedona,Az hold a blow out "Alternative Life Style" Bash Like the White Party or the Kraft Nabisco(Dinah Shore) LPGA Lesbian Weekend?

I have 2 all access passes for the LPGA event and 4 Tickets for the White Party Gig on Saturday, BUY LOW, SELL HIGH !

I would love to have all access to Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis and a handful of other LPGA golfers. Not all, or even most, mind you, but I admit I will click on womens golf when it's on to see who is high on the leader board and who will be bending over to pick things up.

Sorry Cie but I fail to see what being created equal has to do with people of same sex being married--if so then back to rights of polygamist--father marrying son etc

Where do you draw the line--and who draws the line -if not "the people".

+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Stevie-- if you want to let feds decide
Which stance of O will you take--when he was for or against it--
Remember me telling you pre election-about him voting present in senate/fence sitting/incapable of making decision
--are you beginning to see the light yet :)

Well said. :0074

Queue Dogs, deep thinker that he is, asking "What's next... Mothers marrying daughters, Christians marrying Atheists, Republicans marrying Democrats?"

Hmmmm. I find the father/son thing a bit unusual, doggie, but if that's they way you want to swing, and you're both competent adults, what the Hell...grab your Dad's whang and got for it.:0074
