MAAC conf has been a little crazy.Standings have Iona and Manhattan with 7 wins.Then you have 7 of 8 teams with 3 and 4 wins and Rider at the bottom with 1 win.So win today you can jump into 3rd place lose and your in 9th place.And Rider has lost close ones to Loy,Siena and Peter and Mahattan last week.All by 6,7,4,4.
Loy Md - over Rider ***
Greyhounds have the No 2 scorer in the country.They are No 1 in offense and def bds in conf.Rider is last place in offense and almost last in defense.Greyhounds defense is almost as bad though.Rider has owned the Greyhounds the past few yrs but Loy has covered in 3 of those.Though boths teams defense is suspect Collins at home with Tuck and Fofana in the paint will be to tough for the Broncos.
Siena - over Canisius **
Back in Dec the Griffs beat the Saints by 17.Think today this game is all about payback.Both teams play good defense.Siena did a great job on Peters Clark the other day.He had 19 pts with a few minuts to play.Held him to 6 pts in the 1st half.Jordan,Kojo and Fisher are shutdown def players.But Griffs have 5 guys that can score.Downey is there best player and BU tranfer Herring is coming along.Saints starting fd Ryan sat out last game with a concussion.But Osby replaced him and had a double-d.Can is 7-1 ats and Siena is 10-2 ats overall.Close game with Saints defense pulling out the win.Griffs run great motion offense and there patient.
Niagara plus over Peter *
Peter already beat NU in OT up at NU by 4.Clark is still awesome but other teams have slowed him down despite being 4 th or 5th in the country in scoring.Peter is 0-3 ats at home.But there problem isn't offense but defense.They cannot stop anybody.In last 5 games they have given up 77,81,83,95,and 100 pts.They are last in defense and last in rebounding in conf.Purple are a terrible ats team and are last in FG% in conf.But I think they can score vs this defense.
Cincinanti - over Rutgers *
W/o Kirkland they are hurting.No depth,lost 3 straight,and in XU game only 5 players scored.There adding walk ons from the football team to round out there roster.I watched some of the XU game and you really have to be impressed with Cincy.The 3 fds Hicks,McCowan,and White will cause problems for Rutgers.They don't have the defense to stop that.Can the Cin gds handle Douby,Farmer and Webb.RU's Joynes is still hurting and farmer hurt his wrist 2 games ago and is not 100%.Small play here because if Walters presses and tires the bearkats they could be in trouble.But these guys almost beat XU who I think is really a good team.Cin playing at home..small play
Went a terrible 4-9 yest.Pretty,pretty bad.Did win my big game in UConn.But even watching that was close.Huskies really pulled it out in the last 7 or 8 minuts.Had minus ******[6] boxes overall.Will rebound today..hopefully...should of listened to many of you on some games.Esp Tenn.I loved Tenn,and many of you guys smarter then me had Tenn.Yet in my lame calculations I had Florida..well Vols won..Congrads to many of you had that had that as a strong game.
