Got back from a road trip to Senator country last night. After meeting HORNS and the future  Mrs. HORNS :D , I can say this for a fact. Anyone making a trip to Canada's capital must look up HORNS prior to your trip. Other than his hockey knowledge, he's a great guy to hang & party with :toast: :drinky: :toast: :drinky: :toast: :drinky: and she's a
sweetheart...Saturday night she picks up 2 very drunk (OK, wasted) Americans and her man and seemed happy to do it. There are a couple missing chapters from Saturday nights book for me an my pal.

They both took us out to a bunch of different restaurants and pubs on Friday & Saturday - introducing us to their friends like we've lived there our whole lives. Since we didn't have a clue, they set us up with the hotel we stayed at, got us freebies to the game and shuttled us to and from the game. They live roughly 1/2 way between the Corel Center and downtown so they had to drive away from the rink just to get us and then double back to the rink.

Two totally great people as I'm sure all MadJacker's are but they are the first I have met. My friend on the drive up was ALL for Philly as JR & Amonte grew up fairly close to where we live. After the game Saturday, he admitted to HORNS he changed his spots. He's pulling for the Sens (in case anyone forgot, the Bruins were eliminated ages ago :D ) and we both will make the 450 mile drive at least once a year to go see HORNS, the good people of Ottawa and the Sens. What an atmosphere in that building Saturday!

I think Philly will have to dig deep tonight to hold off elimination - it probably won't happen (sorry Aces) and if they do, look for a Sens rout in G7...Even though Philly scored 21 tics into G5, they Sens never looked like they were in trouble and the Flyers looked like their skates were in cement.

I will take the Sens ML for one unit tonight. If I'm wrong tonight, as HORNS has said a bunch of times, I will go hard or go home on Ottawa for G7

Good luck tonight all!

Thanks for the kind words mugs! You and your buddy were super guys to hang out with! :D
Glad you enjoyed Ottawa!:D Now when I need a good luck person to come to the game you will be the guy, Sens are 1-0 with mugs in attendance.:spotting:
I just wish I could have had Ex-Bruin Garry Galley come and meet the Bruins fans. He was not around the press box during the game, most likely in a suite. He has a show here from 10-12 weekdays as he is an Ottawa boy. At least mugs got to meet Steve Levy and Darren Pang as they did the game Sat. for ABC!

Frogy and ddubs - Anytime you want to come just give me a shout! You are all welcome.

Frogy, Always good to see you posting. - Yup, he and his girl are a class acts and very genuine. Even without the hockey, Ottawa looks like quite the city. I'd go back with Mrs. Mugs to visit in a heartbeat.
