Didn't look or play a thing yesterday and had no intentions of playing something today. But, I cannot ignore today's card, horses I'm really familiar with and good sized fields.

These races ARE playables...

1st: NO. 2 top/bot with 3,6, zaks

2nd: no. 2, Lucy's Finale has a terrible jockey, been on a long "funk" (like me), but this horse is better than her record indicates. I think the timing is right for her to surprise a bunch of bettors today. Certainly NOT a best bet for today, but worth the odds I expect her to go off at today. That sorry excuse for a jockey just needs to get her going a bit better at the start because I think she'll still have enough left to mow em down at the finish line. Inside post should help. Zackta facta.

3rd: no. 2, Citizen Kat. Pretty much the same story as Lucy. Just like Lucy, It's mostly a timing thing (this hoss is also due) and today I expect this one to surely land in the moola if not win it all.

4th: Zacks, 1,2 top/bot 6,8, zacks. also box the 1 with the 2. I'll be going a bit heavier on LUCKY nos. zackta.

5th: Zacks again, 5,8 top/bot 6,7.

Strange day cause the FIRST FIVE races are the playables. Get the hosses over with early and watch them NFLers.... YEAH, right... NO WAY, Jose. :jerkit:

My last bet of the day yesterday was USC (pick).. SURE ENOUGH - that game went just like way too many footsball games go for me, WAY TOO MANY.... just unbelievable. My neighbor watched the game with me and when the dang USC coach decided to go for the touchdown with something like a minute left to put them up by a touchdown+ instead of kicking the field goal to ensure that they would still be alive (go into overtime) at worst if Utah scores in the final minute.. I said to him, " You know where this game is heading to.. HERE WE GO - another fluckin ASS BURNER fosho". Sure enough the UTES landed in the end zone and the poker hit my ass exactly as the final whistle blew.

G.L. Y'AWL.

Didn't get to see any of the playables LIVE and I don't carry the internet and my "friends" around in my pocket when away from home (got enough addictions... Italian food, 1/2 pack of smokes/day, Rock n Roll music, classic cars.. er, make that CAR). Here what the replays for today told me....

1st: Played a half bag of peanuts on this race, exactly what I posted. BTW that 6 was 37/1. Yeah, woulda been nice if they moved that one up a notch to complete my exacta. For my efforts, I got back an empty bag.

2nd: Lucy got crushed against the inner rail in the early stages of this race, Bowman almost rode the ground instead of a horse. She came from far, far back to get second and complete a $22.80 zackta. Bowman made a good effort to get her going a little sooner but almost got himself kilt doing so.

3rd: Kat finished a very fast closing 3rd; move the finish line about 20 or 25 yds. further away and that one was a wiener. Did "hit the board" but that got me another empty peanut bag :(
Two sqwatches (here they go again with them dang sqwatches) helped.

4th: No. 8 got da cash; finish was 8-3-2 Sheeet! Got some of that Philly scwatch moola back from the no 1. :)
Nice Philly style zackta payout for those who liked the no. 3.

5th: Wiener, Wiener.... chicken deenah! Don't know what I waz thinking, leaving out the top rated no. 4 hoss, but I am glad I thought of it :)
5-7-4, Nuthin to get excited about, but I'll accept the $28.20.

Pretty much just spun the tires today; just a tiny bit more luck in the earlier races woulda been nice.

I'll go and checkout DT's plays now if he posted them.
Maybe a L@@KER will show up for the late waces?

Well, no. 10 gits the peanuts ($4.40). Dang, I knew I wanted that no. 10 but had to decide between the nos. 3 and 4 (34 to 1) for the other plick. Went with the no. 3 :(
Played the two posted hosses for Win and Place, small bets, of course. Sheesh, that no. 4 paid $16.80 place, $11.40 Show and zakta paid 20 cents short of a C note. Oh well.

FORGET THEM FOOTSBALLERS!

edited: BTW, are there any of them BIG, FAT whales amongst my Visitors?? If so, I got something to share with you Kamikaze types -
I'm noticing something about those late races that consist of ALL absolute Philly DIRT bags (can't run a lick) EXCEPT FOR ONE horse that appears to have 4 working legs. Like in this last race today f'rinstance. The no. 10 was that one horse and yes, there was another one that was very iffy about having 4 legs that could move a little, but clearly not as good as the 10.

Well, the one with the working legs, even if they work slowly ...IS THE WIENER almost every time.
Just sharing a thought.

DT, no plicks today? Good for you cause I don't think today resulted profitable for most CAPPERS. BTW, start looking at my college Suppa Spread Sheet picks next week. I found a tiny, tiny bug that affected 3 plays yesterday and it's now fixed. One of those buggers put me on the wrong team yesterday, Temple. That is, the SHEET now that I exterminated the little bastages, it sez UCF was a moderate pick for that game. That freakin error costed me yesterday. The sheet appears to be working fine now and IF I posted ALL it's picks (about 15 games worth) it woulda done pretty good, not terrific though. I think better days are ahead for it.
