NO quickie capping today, all thoroughly capped.
Here's a little sidenote:

I've been going over my results and finding that I'd be in an even better place if I JUST PLAYED THE TOP RATED HOSS . Wheel top/bot in zacks or a more consistent and safer way -> Win/Place straight bets. I ain't a system kinda player, but some kind of progression (UT OH  ) woulda worked great over the last 2 months. Of course, I'm talking PLAYABLE races, only.

To me, that is a bit of a boring way to pleyem though. BUT, if it continues to prove to be as consistent as it has been for the past 2 months, I may have to do it. I can tellyas that it would be a disaster if Philly goes into the parade of favorites again for any extended timeframe. That especially goes for the exacta wheel bit.

Today
4th race: Nos. 4 and 8 are top rated. I'll be focusing more so on the no. 4, Lady Mickelson (7/2)

5th race: When the ratings come up with the two favorites I try to mix in a price with highly rated horses that I LIKE. I'm gonna do just that and go with 4,7 top/bot 3,6 (the top rated two). I also got side action on no. 2 for Win/Place.

8th race: Very much like the 5th for me.... . 4,8 top/bot 7,10. Thnking about side action on the 8 and the 10. BOTH are value plays when you consider the odds they'll be going off at.

Behind the EIGHT ball once again :(

Behind the EIGHT ball once again :(

I was hoping the MUSH thingy wouldn't happen and sure enough it did right before my first playable race . After watching that 3rf race LIVE and the problem they had with it, I wasn't surprised when the announcer gave it the ole, "Your attention please" bit.

Oh well, now it's a question of whether or not they have enough sponges in the storeroom to soak up the water on the dang twack so they can run tomorrow? Of course, their second option is to turn up the lights on the casino and get out the arrow signs to it.

DT - yeah thanks for your input about that there hoss going for 4 in a row. Great pick according to my rating nos. too. I gave the no. 8 in that race the same consideration as I did the no. 4 cause - it's difficult enough for a regular Philly dirt bag to win 2 in a row, the off track could throw it's winning streak "off track", and the layoff since it's last race. A lot of the horses running at Philly have extended layoffs since their last race, prob. due to the recent cancellations, and that means, for me anyway, lesser confidence in the plicks and that means --> --->..... . . ONE STINKIN DOLLAR BETS ON EXOTICS (much more for straight bets though).

No prob. cause I just got me a classic car to play with last week (and it can use PLENTY of playing around with considering the work I gotta do on it too). You know like replace the hood hinges cause one collapsed the first day I got it in the garage and on the second day the dang power windows on the passenger side stopped working .. UGH! Oh yeah, cancellation of the races ain't such bad news these days. I already got the hood and the old hinges off and hope the new ones will be in my "mailbox" tomorrow.

Gotta go and get my tools out. Is cars rated like dogs? You know, like a dog year is 7 human years. Hmmm, SHEET... if so, I guess I gotta excuse the T-Bird. How bout - the dang thang is 350 years old, heck that's older than me

It is one EXTREMELY pretty little devil though. :)

Not sure about giving Philly a shot tomorrow.
