Another beautiful day out there, it's "lucky" Tuesday (I hope), and pretty wide open races today. And ya know what that means at Philly $$$$$$. BUT, ya gotta pickem :mj03:
Picks may look cwazy or just looking for prices.... neither is the case.
5th race: No. 6 top/bot zacks with 3,5,8. No. 6, Fire King, is very consistent in this class and has Suarez on his back and me feeling good about his chances vs. these. I'd give it a 90% chance of hitting the board.
6th race: I'll be doing various amounts on each exacta ticket (there's a bunch) with the no. 4 on it. Not going to list them cause I don't expect anybody to follow and not gonna suggest anybody does. Playing him win/place is cool also due to that 8-1 M.L.
Now the horse I REALLY like is no. 8, Chief Dispute. No exactas cause I don't want to get screwed by leaving the zacta mate out and I ain't gonna go wild on exactas on two horses in one race. I expect DECENT odds on this one and I'll be putting medium to mucho across the board on this one. Even if this one finishes 2nd, the race will be profitable for me. Comes in with the no. 4?... .. OH YEEEAH!
7th race: I stopped capping as soon as saw the no. 1 hoss (and that happened real quick like since she's no. 1 LOL). Mixed feelings about this one, but there's no way I don't bet it. Had her last time she ran and I'm on this one this time as well. Would luv to take the elastic band off the bigger greenbacks for this one, but there's something very fishy going on with her so I won't. She's an excellent grass runner (check her results from last year) but what's going on with her THIS YEAR?? Finishes up the track in her 2 turf races and then looks good (well beaten 3rd though) on the dirt. Only ran 3 races this year too.. that ain't a good sign. Still, I think OCTOMON is the best in here today.
8th race: gave it going over; waste of (plenty) of time... .. too tough to call. Nos. 3 and 8 were the two top picks in case anybody's interest. I ain't.
9th race: top picks are 2-4-6 (not necessarily in that order). For me, I'm on no. 9, Raycn with Gracyn , 20-1 M.L. Despite the odds and pps, you just don't let a horse that sez (between the lines) "I'm gonna win today". Of course, just cause she sez it doesn't mean she can do it. Yet, I'm gonna take her word for it. Across the board play for me.
10th race: A horse I've posted and played many times is the top pick for me today. Hoss clearly had a valid excuse in last, one before that was on an off track. IF this one runs like I remember it CAN .. . it's the best bet today at anything close to it's 15-1 morning line. One caveat though - this one knows how to put the pedal to the metal.. unfortunately, she also knows how to run out of gas in the ass. Hoping to see an open length(s) margin in the stretch run IF Mysty is on it's game today.
Hope ya checked in today, Crawzy Fingers even if just out of curiosity (sometimes that's the bestest reason to stop in). If not, good luck whatever you're up to today.
Good luck, MJers.
