Since I'm pretty much the only hoss player with a keyboard, think I'll just put plicks in this "Philly" thread until the Derrby players (IF there are any this year) hit town. I was gonna title the thread "Hoss Wacin" but some of the newbies (Derby) players may not figure that out. :mj03:

No damage done to anybody on days that I haven't been posting cause they were disasters and I don't get it? Top raters weren't even hitting the board and ratings failed to find any of the LONG shots that won or, at least, hit the zacktas. DON'T GET IT at all?

Things picked up over this weekend so here's what I'm thinking for the last (9th) wace today (Mon.)

Now, ratings say no. 8, Boss Cat, wins for fun. I say that the second and third rated horses have a shot though; those would be nos. 7,9 and maybe the no. 5 too. I also think that the thing to do just may be to catch some lightening in a bottle for this race and think I got the TWO long, looong shots that could do it.... nos. 2 OR 3. I'll be on these two a couple of ways, one of which will be with 10 STINKIN cent Zuppas, top/and 2nd place (over a bunch). And each of those two top/bot in zacktas with a smaller bunch.

No need to put much down on these two cause their odds should be HUGE!

TWO dang favorites, all by themselves, in the LAST race of the day. What else is new? BOTH longshots got out of the gate last and second from last, SHEESH! No. 2 made a good run though while it lasted.
Yeah, the one that "wins for fun" did win even if it wasn't for fun (close).

Sometimes ya just gotta go for it and sometimes that really does make your day, been there enough times. Just don't L@@K for that situation cause it's gotta come to you. This time it did come to me but the greenbacks went the other way

But first... yesterday's results

Hit 2 of 4 playables; one of them got me ahead by something like a bag and one half of PEANUTS
Not so with the other one. the 5th.... . . TRIFECTA - Cha Ching ♫, EXACTA - Cha Ching ♪, and the PLACE hoss, give that one just a "CHING". Payoff on each of those was more than decent. I really like that there "School on the Hill" hoss". Come to think of it, I like even more that I threw out the HUGE favorite and the payoffs for a little 6 horse field.

Probably of more interest for our viewers is that the ratings were working really good.

Now, here's the race to ponder over for today - a real "doozie" -
I don't ever remember the ratings I generate come up with a "WINS FOR FUN" prediction (thems are pretty rare) on a 8-1 morning liner. But, that was the case for today's 6th race and that would be for no. 2, Great Illusion. Asfaras coming up with a nice exotic mate(s) for that one is another story cause the ratings and my own capping sez ALL of the other hosses in the race qualify. :mj03:

Just for the record - No. 3, Air Alaska, is rated 2nd. This one does make a lot of sense cause it is taking a big drop in class and she found a field with little early speed. Also, being the most probable early and consistent speed in this race means this one will look to steal this race and should have an easy trip on the lead. I used to like this hoss, but I don't like what I've seen from this mare lately.

I think what this all means is that this 6th race is gonna light up the board when the dust stops flying no matter who wins.

Should be a good race to WATCH and maybe even take a stab with today. :00011

Oh, other playables for today are the 5th and the 8th.

RIGHT now there's a foul claim between them two favorites.. makes no difference.

And what did I do?
well, no. 8 looked decent in the warm ups, soooo now I gots 4 hosses to play with.. 7,9,2,8. That means throw away 8 stinkin dollare on 7,9 top/bot 2,8. That's what. I don't know who finished 4 (for the zuppa), doesn't matter even it it was the no. 8.

Still, a good day though.

Funny thing... 7th race top plick went almost (exactly) like yesterday's one that paid off real nice.

Get this....

-TOP PLICK was 8-1 M.L. just like yesterday's
- Opens at 2/1, almost exactly like yerterday's (I think that one opened at 5/2(
- Next click of the odds and it's at EXACTLY 5/1 exactly like yesterday's.
- AND..... . finishes 2nd to complet a decent zackta, exactly like yesterday's.

Now, did I nail the zackta (just like yesterday . . LOL) Ah, NOPE got 2nd, the plick, and 3rd instead which means ZIPPO dineros.

Did I bet the no. 3 as a side bet? YOU BETCHA (5,5,15) and the nice place/ show payoff made me a wiener for this wace :0053

Yesterday I had to rush to get the post out "to myself" and I made a few mistakes like ... I was looking at the 6th race when I posted the SEVENTH race plick, YIKEs. The 7th race wasn't even a playable wace. Not gonna post to myself IF I gotta rush cause I already know what my plicks are.

Just to MAYBE get the MJer inteested.. again, JUST LIKE YESTERDAY, and it seems like EVERY day .. it's the two favs. again, FLUCK. Ok, if ya gotta play somethikng look at no. 6 and no. 5 (a looker).
