recovery cd for vista

just bought a new hp desktop computer...and it did not come with recovery cd's

is it easy to do a recovery cd

the salesman at future shop mentioned they can do the recovery cd for me and couple of other things..but went withe monitor instaead ,,figuring i can do the recovery cd on my own...so

what to do , to make recovery cd
