This is a huge win. The high number of cases of this much weakrned variant will help us reach the conclusion of this mess. I just had Covid. Tested positive yesterday. Was sick with like a scratchy throat for about a day. Omicron is the missing link between pandemic and endemic.
You don?t know if these ?idiots ? Have underlying illnesses, or are immunocompromised. You need to grow up, son.

Viruses are going to virus. No respiratory virus in history has been eradicated by vaccine. This one won?t either. However, the vaccine has helped tremendously in saving lives and lessening symptom severity. No need for me to take a booster since I?m vaccinated and I am now positive. I?m not going to minimize the tragic loss of life to this point. I know people who died, and I know someone seemingly healthy my age who very nearly died. They thought she was done, but things fortunately turned around for her while she was in a medically induced coma.
No one ( not even fauci) is predicting major increase in deaths, so much of what We hear in the media focuses on the spike in number of cases and potential overrunning of the medical system. The thing is, Omicron ran thru South Africa without Pushing their medical system to the brink. Cases will peak in the US in about 3 weeks then fall off a cliff. The largest hospital system in Louisiana isn?t remotely strained except that 200 medical staff are quarantined at moment. But, let?s think about this, would we be concerned at 200 medical staff or out with a different coronavirus like a common cold? We wouldn?t be. I feel strongly that it?s time to let go of what was, accept this for what it is today. Sure, I know It can be scary for some, but I?m overweight and my blood pressure is controlled with meds, yet this variant affected me less than a typical cold.

Really glad to hear you got thru this ok Cie. I can honestly say I might not think this is as big of a deal if I didn?t have a 92 year old mother and father that I will do everything I can to protect every day. I have a lot of friends who think this is all a bunch of nothing and they have every right to think and say that. But they lose me when they say we?d all be better off if everyone just got Covid and got over it. At 92 mom and dad are compromised and have underlying conditions and I?m not sure they could survive it. And if I didn?t do everything I could to protect myself so I don?t bring it home to them I?m not sure I could live with myself. I can?t wait till I don?t have to worry about this as much as I do but that day isn?t today for me. Stay safe and healthy Cie. And if you ever want to adopt a puppy I can hook you up ❤️

Sadly, the situation for elderly and otherwise immunocompromised isn?t much better today than when this started. you?re definitely doing yeoman?s work taking care of those who cannot care for themselves. Obviously, I?m referring to your folks, but also your work on North Gale. Phenomenal stuff. I simply can?t get enough. You need a north gale reality tv show. I?m pretty sure one of the MJ?s millionaires can produce it lol
