Very nice scores for your first time at nationals.....:toast:

That doubles score is certainly high enough to cash and Pasprint's singles should be in the money, too.
What was your total team score?
2800 is usually enough to cash in the team event.
Win any money in brackets?

We didn't take a team- just the two of us.
He won 50 and I won 40 in brackets.

That was my first time there. I had a great time!!

The first time walking out into the lanes in the stadium is something you won't forget. Knew it was just the two of you, thought you might have found a team to sub on while out there.
Making money in brackets during singles and doubles is always sweet--- less bowlers than there is for the team event, although not as bad now with 6 on a pair vs 4 on a pair in the past.
Glad you enjoyed yourselves......:0074

I was very proud of her this past weekend. Especially since she hasn't really bowled competitively in the last 10 years and has really shown some poise this year as she already had shot some impressive matches in league with a few 700 matches and a 289 high game. This was my 3rd nationals appearance and I still haven't shot a 600 series while there and she comes out of the gate with a 614. Proud of her.... very proud. Most will never know or comprehend how hard it is to shoot a good match at that place.
Its good to be home.... I shot 279,202,223 in league tonight. Its amazing how one weekend at that place brings the best out of you.
Anyone who is going this year I can tell you "where its at" now that I've been there. It's a shame I didn't find the line till it was too late. I really wish I could do it all over again. There is a shot there if you get lined up.

I'm all ears. We roll April 7th-8th. I'm a lefty, so the shot is always different for me as there aren't as many bowlers playing on my side, but a good starting reference point is always helpful.
Nole bowls right after me on the 11-12th if I remember correctly...

Great Ball Park, behind Harrahs Parking Structure

Really great little ball park. I went to a game at the beginning of the 2012 season and Mike Trout let off with a home run (for the visiting Angels affiliate). Barely knew who he was at that point.
Friendly staff, clean amenities, and within walking distance of Virginia st.
Cheap nachos too. :0008

I don't know what you are throwing or how much you turn the ball but deep inside is where its at....

This guy turns it quite a bit more than I do. Honestly, I don't think it matters. If you watch where his ball turns to face the pocket (at the last lane marker) is where you want to get the ball. When I shot that last game of 246 I was standing around 33 looking 18. I actually tugged one over 20 and it just sat there and ripped the rack. I'm almost certain if you leak it out the slightest bit it will be gone though. The 10 pin I left in the 10th went over the 17 board and it was a flat 10. The first 9 frames that game were absolutely packed. The 9 count in the 4th was a buried stone 8 pin.
I shot decent in doubles and was standing 23 looking 12. But as you know accuracy was everything. If I missed, it was junk. When singles started, that line broke down hard and I just couldn't get it there anymore. Fiddle fucked around for almost 2 games trying to force it in there from outside until I took a walk and looked for someone who was killing it and they were playing that deep inside line. Went back to my pair in the 10th of the second game, moved 10 and 6 off of where I was playing, buried the first 2 and lit it up the last game. Man I wish I had that match over again. I was throwing a Brunswick NeXXXus for added info.
Good luck out there fellas.
