best play wvu +8.5--
wvu game under 142
-----well when we first gthink about this game and this match-up we know louisville is an athletic team with many shooters that can knock down the 3. Wvu is vulnetrable to teams that can shoot the 3 and have a good inside prescence. Tech had the inside prescence but no outside attack. Believe Louisville will be patient but will shoot some contested 3's where they think they are open, thus resulting in missed 3's. Believe the cards will rush shots and not make a big effort to look inside. Defensively what we will see alot form the cards is a matchup zone. They have long athletic guys that can really move around in it. I think early we will see wvu struggle a bit in it feelingin out the soft spots. One thing is for sure is that wvu will remain patient on offense running a lot of clock lalways working the ball for the best possbile shot. I feel wvu is playing better than anyone right now and is capable of winning this one with the 3 pt shot and their ability to knock down free-throws and take care of the ball. Against tech didn't take care of the ball well like normal, but did a great job defensievely in thier 1-3-1. Feel the cards line is inflated a bit with their impressive wins over wash and georgia tech. But wvu as a whole have a lot more guys that can contribute. They have salley(best player) can shoot the 3 and finish around the rim., Pittsnoogle--the big man with a deadly 3 ball shot, and can score a little inside, Gansby--athletic underatted guard that can finish around the rim and get fouled, also knock down the 3, Herber more of a slasher, big strong physical guard that can also get to the line and make tough shots, leave him open and he will knock down the 3, pt guard--getting better every game, makes excellent descions and can create for others well, he also has gotten comfortable behind the arc and at the line, although his statistics won't show that. Then u have the bench which brings a lot of offense in, Belien the coaches son, is deadly from 3 if he gets set,and has a real nose for the ball on d when it comes to rebound, Fischer,a big man that brings an shot blocker to the game, another rebounder, and also has a great jumpshot and also a 86 freethrow shooter. Also have Frank---a guy that wasn't even playing early in the year, recently got his chance to play in the big east tourney because of Salley had the flu. Frank can shoot the 3 and is a real heady player. Bottom line is Wvu--continues to get no respect, love the here getting the 8.5--feel they have a good chance to win this game. They have a smart coach and it carries through the team1-10 they all know the game plan and what they want to do. They will run clock looking for backdoors or good wide open shots. I think defenseively wvu zone will force the cards into bad shots. LIke the under here as well. First when i looked at this game i thought over because of all the skilled players that have the ability to put the ball in the hole. But I know 2 good coaches will have their respective teams prepared for what the other will do offensively and believe we will see a patient game out of wvu..I think wvu suprizes a lot of people today with their ability to be patient and unselfish working for good shots. Final play wvu +8.5 and under 142--under both teams run zone--when attacking zone is key to move the ball and get into high post, this will require lots of passes and run clock--

Arizona +5

Arizona game under 145--

Well we have illinois on 1 hand--in which has been on fire all year and seem to not be playing their best ball of the year, they just keep winning. I think they do a good job inside with Powell and Augustine rebounding and getting tough baskets. BUt really feel this is the key to the game, Arizona has Frye and believe he is the best big man on the court, and Illinois fron-court has not seen a guy like this all year. Frye can hit the jumper and has great post moves down low. MOre importanly is his defense, a shot blocker that will atlter a lot of powell and augustines shots. Feel he is far more athletic than these 2. The next key is Salim--vs. Illinois excellent backcourt. Honesty as good as Dee Brown is on defense, and as quick as he may be, don't feel like anyone can guard Salim right now. This guy is hot and cancreate his shot better than anyone. U can not give him any room, brown a small defender, will give Salim plenty of jumpshot oppurtunites that he has been knocking down consisently. Arizona also has been running a 1-31- halfcourt defense that gives teams problems. they are athletic and really challenge shots. Sometimes they break down and give up 3's but feel Illinois in a tight game will miss these 3's. They are so used to being out in front, don't feel they will fare as well in a barburner type game. And believe me this game will be close and will stay close throughout. Really feel the 5 istooooo many, and a result of Illinois great year. Arizona is playing great baskeball and being so athletic can really hurt Illinois on the glass. Also like this under---In close games--Zona will really give Salin the ball and let him work, this results in a lot of time being taken off the clock. He really works and just doesn't fire it up there the first chance he gets. He does a good job of remaining patient, and really makes sure he is comfortable when he shoots. Arizona runs that zone alot and Illinois being a good team will work that ball alot thus resulting in time off the clock.Final play Arizona +5--feel they win this game--and under 145---Illinois will be patient on offense and the quick perimeter players will mnake Salin work..
