Now a flip side story about my prom
.....we had our prom Friday night........we select a prince and princess and a king and queen. ballots are given out as you sign in....we have 2 students that are special ed students that are very low functioning attending the prom...their Sp Ed ed teachers we all present at the dance and had bought Mikela a dress and rented a tux for Thomas.Unbeknown to me or all our teacher at the prom the seniors voted Mikela and Thomas the Prince and Princess.The two of them were so excited and did a slow dance with the King and queen as the winners...all the Sp Ed teachers had tears in their eyes..and so did half the senior class....myself included..it was really nice and touching...these 2 kids will remember this for the rest of their lives...so will all of us....before the last dance I got the mike from the DJ and" thanked everyone for everyone being so well behaved...told them about driving home carefully,etc...thanked them for electing the Prom court....this Class of 2011 is one of my all time favorite classes..see you all bright and early Monday morning": .....then in the back of the room someone yelled out.." see you tuesday Mr. Box....its senior cut day monday...ahhhhhh:scared
