Sorry to disappoint a whiny conservative, but this doesn't upset me. I don't think anybody disagrees with the possiblity that Saddam had chemical or biological weapons at some point. The real debate is over whether or not Saddam's WMD ambitions were an immediate threat to the U.S., and whether or not this WMD line was the real motivation for the invasion.

It's not news because anybody with half a brain knew 15 years ago that Saddam was deceptive and would have loved to have nukes.

It's about Saddam hiding chemical and biological weapons and programs and lying about it. He deceived the world. Thank god Bush removed him from power. And all you guys said "Bush lied"!!!!

What he is talking about is that after 9/11 occurred this country had to take these middle eastern terrorists states much more seriously than before. AND YES IRAQ WAS ONE OF THEM.

Then add in at the time we had pretty much neutralized Afghanistan, we had this dictator snubbing his nose at the UN (bubba's great foreign policy makers) time and again. What was it, 15 to 16 last time resolutions broken and they did nothing. WHAT A JOKE.

WE COULD HAVE PICKED ANY COUNTRY OVER THEIR TO PURSUE THESE HEAD CUTTING OFF ANIMALS, BUT Bush picked Iraq because of ALL THE INTELLIGENCE AT THAT TIME, believed by both sides. AND YES WE HAD A HISTORY THERE, WE HAD BEATEN THEIR ASS BEFORE.

Couple that with all the so called snubbing of world opinion by hussein thru the Fuc****** UN, it was needed to show that someone meaning us would stand up to these terrorists states.

That's what Bush did and I know you on the left don't, didn't and never will like it but he made a stand and whether the left likes it or not We have shown the world that we will not be intimidated or take anything from these terrorists pigs and will pursue them anywhere we feel is necessary.

This is what was needed to help stabilize this region and Bush has not punked out like bubba did in Mogadishu sic whatever when he pulled out.What an embarrassment that was to the world. Think that had anything to do with bin laden thinking he could get away with 9/11.

All Bush is doing is staying the course and thank God for that.

How old are you, 12? You calling people crybabies is funny after reading the maturity level of your posts. I'm not playing dumb. Your third post implied that there was somebody in the world who thought Saddam didn't want nukes. That's not me playing dumb, that's you sounding dumb. Big difference.

Also, there aren't any liberals who claim that Saddam never had chemical or biological weapons. Hell, the US may have given him some of them to fight against Iran.

What Bush lied about was his motivation for invading Iraq. It wasn't because he found out that Iraq had chemical weapons back in 1995 (the article you cite), it wasn't because Iraq was going to attack the US, it wasn't because Iraq was involved in 9/11, and it wasn't because he felt a compassionate desire to liberate the poor, oppressed people of Iraq. He did lie. People continue to die. You calling people crybabies or saying we have "cooties" or whatever your next intelligent post is doesn't change that.
