I'm not sure some of these items classify as that and I did a little digging on ebay. Long story short we are trying to get in-home care for my grandmother and we are trying to free up some money for her. We started going through some things last night and came across these steins. Try telling an 84 yr old woman that it doesn't matter if she paid $35 a pc for them or not she will be lucky to get $5 bucks. So I didn't know if anyone else had ever seen these or not. My pap collected certain things and this was one of them.

She has an array of Rockwell Plates.
The Baseball Legends steins.
The Hero's of the Civil War Steins.

Be lucky to get $20 each even in original box.

Best I can do is $1.50. I have to restore and it and I have overhead. I take all the risk.

Tell you what, it's a cool item but I don't know a lot about them. So I'm going to call my buddy who's an expert on vintage baseball steins and have him come down and take a look at it. He runs a baseball stein museum so he knows all there is to know.

As far as we know there are no boxes.

They aren't signed except for the part on the handle with a replica of their signature.

I'm not sure how old they are but I'm guessing 10 years. He died 5 years ago.

I'm sure they aren't what you call "original" but more like those ads you see in the Sunday paper that says "buy one then they send you a new one every month until you have the whole collection" type thing is my guess.

I did find them on ebay and they are anywhere from $6 to $25 each and there was one group listed for 10 for $219. So I'm guessing there are 10 in the collection. We didn't really take a close look last night.

She says they paid $35 each when they got them and that's why she thinks they are worth big bucks.

look at completed listings to get an idea for price. active listings aren't going to tell you anything because they aren't being bought at that price if they are on there. some people just throw stuff up there with a ridiculously high buy it now price and have the best offer feature enabled so they can take offers. checking the completed listings is the best way to see what sort of value you have.

if you have a full set it might be beneficial to keep them all together. from the looks of it you aren't sitting on anything very expensive, but still doesn't mean you shouldn't try to get the most you can out of them.

can someone get in touch with The Mover and ask him the best and least costly way to ship 10 baseball steins from Pennsylvania to Maine?
