Just wondering who some of your favorites are. Also ones you can't stand. As for me really like Tony Bruno on Fox Radio . Also on Fox Johnny Wrenshaw (spelling ?) . Used to like Bob Kemp but can't find him anymore. The one I can't stand the most is Jim Rome, Ego-Maniac who makes a living off other peoples dirty laundry and repeatimg himself for 3 hours. Instead of "Have a take and don't suck", it should be "Have a take and agree with me and cut someone down". Also can't handle Tony Cornholer, oppps I mean Cornheiser. You can tell this man never set foot on a field of competition. Then we have the up and coming Rome want to be Mark Patrick, very knowlegeable but thinks he is a comedian and to and to many Romeisms. Just curious what you guys like and dislike.

I like Dan Patrick. Dibbs is a little bit of a waste but I like the show. Dan seems to have the sports world wired. With all of his connections (ESPN and otherwise) he always has great guests. On his radio show he is a little more risque and is more willing to ask a tough question.

Rome is a joke. My favorite part of the NFL draft was the fact that the Jets fan DID LIKE THIER PICK. This made Rome look like a stupid idiot with all of his promos. :D

Rome doesnt bother me, the guy that I cannot stand is Ron Barr and I am not even sure if he is still on. Suprisingly, the guy whom I feel does a pretty good job is Mel Kiper on ESPN radio. Where I live I can usually only get the Cleveland stations on radio (talk) and they are some of the worst homers in the country. By the way what the hell ever happened to Peter Brown, the guy was the only one in Cleveland that ever told it like it was, then he took of for New York and I have since lost contact with where he is at?

Living here in NY, Mike and the Mad Dog are the best, hands down. An absurd number of commercials, but that goes with the territory, they're also on tv now so when I move soon I can watch it which is cool....used to thoroughly enjoy Sporting News Radio, but the affiliate, 620 here in NY/NJ, now has gone to like yiddish music or something and never has sports talk anymore, Bob Kemp and Arnie Spanier were great on that along with Peter Brown..Don't like Rome's shtick or some of espn radio, its all shtick and no substance, Bob Kemp was the best nuts and bolts sports guy Ive ever heard to this day, for the person who posted where is he, hes doing a show in Arizona now, may be available on the net Im not sure, but think its in Tempe or Phoenix

I have to agree that Tony Bruno is very good. He has a quick sense of humor and does not take himself too serious.

John "The Freak" Renshaw really knows his sports. He is well versed in every sport.

Papa Joe Chevalier is very good also. I had the great fortune of meeting him last summer in Vegas. He is a real down to earth guy.

I think the worst on the air is JT the Brick. This guy is very abusive to his callers and just an all-around punk. If you do not agree with his side, he will cut you off and tell you what an idiot you are.

Papa Joe Chevalier and Arnie Spanier -- by far my favorite two...also liked Bob Kemp but not as much as these two...Kemp was very knowledgeable and had good dry humor....Spanier and Chavalier crack me up good though

now neither of them are on the radio in Houston unfortunately...

we got 2 guys in the mornign show in Houston that are really good though Lance Zeurline and John Granato.....rest of the local yahoo's here suck though....especially our football play by play man who has his own show....its unlistenable...and our afternoon team are as anal as can be....horrible

also have Rome on....liked Rome for about a year, but now he is old....has a good following though....but he uses the same jokes again and again.....some people like that humor but i personally dont....plus he uses this silence all the time and pauses -- makes it boring

ESPN "all night" with Todd Wright...........he's great....

can't stand Buffalo sports talk radio........horrible stuff..."the coach Chuck Dickerson" is a joke.....I just turn on Buffalo sports radio to laugh...

must say that FAN 590 in Toronto is quite good........although for those of you in the Toronto area, think you'll all agree that MOJO radio is hands down the best radio station (all the guys on there are superb) on earth..........I know it's not officially sports talk radio, but they do talk sports at least 70 % of the time :p And man oh man some funny stuff on that station that's for sure :p

Papa Joe He is just fun to listen to. And Papa if you invite him even if you are a smaller town. He comes. Been here twice in last 4 years. Always golfs and helps with what ever fund raiser that is going on.
Dan Patrick is very good. Thats about all I have time for. Need to watch the action on TV.

I enjoy Papa Joe too. I like the national shows much better than the local shows. Unfortunately, in Boston we are losing a lot of the national shows to the local ones.

I like "Mike & Mike in the Morning" Mike Greenburg and mike Golic. On Tuesdays they have their JUST SHUTUP AWARD, very funny.

I also like Dan Patrick and Rob Dibble. The callers state their height and weight and then they "ding" a bell, funny stuff. They also have very connected guests.

We used to have Sportsfan Radio Network here, and overnight, there was a guy who called himself, JT the Brick. He sucked, terrible show.

SixFive, JT the Brick is on Xtra690/1150am in the LA/San Diego area and you are right, he SUCKS. Liked the Loose Cannons but Philly Billy split up when the two stations merged.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Todd Wright is good! and that annoying Kornheiser fellow does get some good guests on, esp the local sports reporters who have good insight that helps handicapping sometimes.

but what we want is sport-betting-talk!

well, you can wake up to the "Stardust Morning Line" on KDWN, 830am pst. Streamed live here........................http://www.kdwn.com/sports/sports.html

the shows on weekend nights feature some decent commentary by famous touts. This half-hour show weekdays is mainly info with a few pics and commentary by those touts.

then there is the Track Talk on KLAV Wed-Sun 730-8am. Tho this morning it was on at 9...streamed live over net here...........http://www.klav1230am.com/Programs.shtml

I like Tony Bruno, too. He is funny - makes fun of himself - does talk about wagering quite often. I listened to Rome when he first started out late night in San Diego. At the time and for years after, he was tops. I can't stand him the past few years and won't listen to him unless there is nothing else on. His ego is at an all-time high, but hey, look where he has gone. I think he has lost his edge, however, and his annoying habit of repeating and repeating the same phrase ad infinitum has made me want to drive my car off a cliff. There was a 2 man team that I liked alot - very irreverant and funny. One guy was an actual comedian and the other guy his foil. Then the stations combined and the good one left. Can't remember their names. One of them was a Cleveland fanatic.
