Says the two teams their sportsbook really needs today are Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay. A lot of money coming in on the Saints, which he doesn't really get.

Asked what his own bet is for today, he said a teaser (6 pts I think) with Indy and Calgary in the CFL Grey Cup game. For those of you who wonder, the Stampeders are the class of the CFL.

When it was suggested that he was "square" for betting a teaser, he dryly commented that "Professional gamblers do play teasers." That is why the books are charging more of a price for teasers now. And in Pinnacle's case, sometimes fudging the points given (my observation).

Just an FYI, for anyone who is interested. Good luck today, whatever you do! :0008

You are exactly correct. Years ago teaser players were seen as squares, the lines have gotten so tight in the NFL, 7 point teasers are not even offered at many sports books, and six point teasers are being juiced much higher. 10 point 3 team teasers are also almost extinct.

In that case, we had better make hay while the sun shines. :SIB

I know that a lot of sportsbooks take their main exposure every week from teasers in NFL football.

My own view is that the linesmakers are so good now and have so much information available to them, that we can us their own knowledge against them via teasers.

I agree. Especially later in season when lines get tighter
