I am trying to cut some expenses, since getting a divorce, so I cut all my premium channels on Directv, I want to know how is the best way to get streaming Netflix to my big screen tv?

anyone have apple tv? and how much is netflix per month? I do not even own a dvd  in fact I do not even have a dvd player or blue ray player, I would never use it.

TIA

I totally recommend Western Digital's WD TV Live hub. it's a hard drive that you connect to your computer-internet-tv.
you can download basicly any movie thats available through torrents and watch on your tv for free. and they also offer netflix and many other services for watching tv or movies.
also check out this link that I'm attaching which goes into detail on how to eliminate cable tv.

good luck!

I have this thanks to DTB and works great.

Best thing since sliced bread--even dummys like myself can set it up--only one wire(hdmi) from very small box to tv.

Only downfall is i watch too much tv now. Lots of hoopla on Netflix splitting streaming and disc past couple days. I expect most to keep the streaming and 40% to axe the disc service.

I actually did the opposite. With streaming the picture quality is not even close. More importantly
(for me), with streaming you don't get very good sound... with Bluray you get uncompressed surround sound, which in my opinion makes or breaks a movie....

Agreed, I don't even have a fancy audio setup or even a great TV, but the only stuff I stream is television series, or documentaries, basically stuff where I don't expect great quality.

Feature films, I still order discs from Netflix.

I don't have that prob mags--they have signal rating for input on screen via roku box and 90% of time maxed out on 4 rating. I have cable internet--maybe that makes a difference--not sure how thing works.

I also have TV hooked up to Bluray player but don't use it most of time--however sound is better if I do- with all the speakers--but can't tell diff on picture quality at all.
