Anyone think Houston is a better play than the JETS?
I can't see Houston losing this one.

My suicide pool started with 3298 entries at $50 an entry. You must pick 2 games in weeks 5,10 and 15.

275 teams left

everyone is going to take the jets but it is hard not to. kinda like ne also, dont think rams can win 3 in a row, ne still a very good team. especially at home. oak scares me this week. hou plays no defense, do not like taking teams who play no defense.

its probably going to be the jets.

I am a Jets fan. But at this point, after more then 1400 people are out of 1600 in a hundred bucks a pop.

I would love to take the Jets however I never know which Jets will show up. No doubt the Jets should destroy the Chiefs, however, as your self this: ARE YOU WILLING TO PUT YOUR WHOLE SEASON ON THE BACK OF THE JETS? I just know that I would want to jump out the window if the Jets lose.

Im thinking Baltimore at Home or Philly at Home. That way even if they lose I can sleep knowing I took a decent team who plays well at home.

Going with the Ravens. Seems like the safest play out there of the teams I have left. Not touching the Jets.

After much hemming and hawing (I don't have the Jets, Eagles or Panthers at my disposal) I have decided to go with the New England Patriots for my Week 8 picks.

I don't like the fact the Pats blew out the Broncos on MNF and Harrison is OUT and Sammy Morris is questionable but they still have the personnel to get the job done. The Rams won big last week and they are hosting Arizona next weekend for a divisional showdown so that helps. The money is split almost evenly on both teams...The Rams traditionally do not play well on grass and the Pats has a coaching edge over the Rams.

Steven Jackson is also a game-time decision for the Rams. This one won't be an easy win but I think (hope) the Pats will prevail in the end with all the experience and intangibles they have.

On to next week! Rams made things interesting and Cassel was no Brady that's for sure but Week 9 here we come!

Nobody in my pool was eliminated.

In my pool there are 134 out of 1549 left and everyone won except we have one pending on SF.....

Next week is brutal! GL on your pick:mj06:

No one eliminated in either of my pools. After looking at the schedule, my guess is next week that will change.

Squeaked through again with NYJ. My pool lost one with Jax so we're down to 14.

Looking forward to the next thread. Week 9 looks tough as hell!
