Yeah I can't believe there are more German speakers in any of those states than Chinese. There has to be some Chinese immigrants in most states way more than old time German speakers?

Arabic for Michigan is correct we have close to 500,000 living here. Most live outside Detroit in Dearborn.

I thought so too at first. I looked into it, and there is a huge group of people I was totally forgetting. The Amish and Mennonites. They technically speak Pennsylvania Dutch, but that's from German. I would have guessed Bosnian for here, and that would be true for my home county, but for the whole state when you count the Amish and Mennonites, I totally believe this.
