Suns ML +190
I have lost my last two ML plays by just one point each. (New Jersey on Tues. and Dallas last nite). I feel like the Suns will shine on me tonite. (cheesy pun intended). The Suns were in control of game 5 having led by 19 points as late as the third quarter, but allowed the Clips to rally and send the game to OT. They had to stage a rally of their own before finally taking the game in 2nd OT.
For those of you who read Bill Simmons on ESPN.com you are familiar with his levels of losing . He lists 13 levels, each one progrssively worse.
Well, Tuesday's game was a classic Stomach-Punch game. Having come back from 19 down to lose in double-OT is something a team just does not bounce back from. Look at these comments from Elton Brand as Exhibit A. "That`s the most disappointing game I`ve been a part of," Clippers forward Elton Brand told the Arizona Republic after Game 5. "We had it. It`s tough to shrug this off. We were down almost 20 points. It seemed like we had it iced. It hurts emotionally and physically." Brand told Dailynews.com.
These team have played nine times this season (4 regular season and 5 in the playoffs) In ALL 9 of these games the winning team has covered the spread.
The Suns are looking to get rest for a tough series against either Spurs/Mavs (which has a real chance to go 7 games) and should bring their "A" game tonight against the demoralized Clips.
