Wow, seriously? Look at the examples and tell us you are wrong and would make the others leave more.

:sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave:

I believe you are a loser tipper. Period. Comment above about ladies is way true.

I tip appropriately unless I have been drinking then all bets are off, Rachel Ray tipping a dollar on a 10 dollar cab ride, who gives a shit, just because she is a multi- millionaire means she has to waste money? my tab is 400 I tip 60 bucks, thats 15%

I tip based on the service, and never tip more than 15% unless it's someone I know/a friend.

I don't give a fuck if I'm cheap, deal with it.

I don't have to deal with it, you and your future waitstaffers do, just wish I could forewarn them. Cheap ass. Karma will show her lovely ass to you.

UNBELEIVABLE reading this crap from someone who says they were in the industry.

Bucs your right, spend your money the way you see fit, but your so far off base in this thread, it would behove you to STFU.

I owned and operated restaurants for over 25 years and I can tell you every aspect of a thriving food establishment works their asses off.

The front and the back of the house are equally pushed to the limits.

I'll take a good/great wait staff anyday, before almost anything, it's your first and lasting impression to your customers and to sell them short is just absurd.

You tip 15 to 20% for good or exceptional service no matter what the bill is and these Hollywood morons and rich athletes that do not pay just shows what kind of people they are.

The funny thing is we have a certain % of our population that listen to these morons when they talk politics what a fucking laugh that is.

Ctownguy.............you are bang on.:0074

As for bucs.......he sees things that nobody else sees. You should hear what he says in "off the wall" forum.
:scared

the fact that bucs "worked in the industry" and says the things he says proves my point about bucs.......the guy lives in another world.

In my early teens I worked my ass off for years washing dishes at an exclusive restaurant. Being a waitress sucks.

bucs is a fucking wack job, so just take what he says like we do in "off the wall".

Just laugh and be amused.

Now his "honey" comment towards a female on madjacks was way out of line

Note: Hey Thongy....gotta love bucs coming over here and doing his thing:142smilie

You are an idiot. Your thoughts /ideologies about waiting tables are so out there in your world that no one can comprehend. Do you have children? Do they have jobs as teens? Didn't think so.

My son is a water in New York who makes excellent money but he works his ass off.He doesn't keep all the tip money a % goes to the bus boys , maitre d & the bartender.. I usually give 20-30%. I have a brother- in-law who usually is high maintenance every time we go out , always want to substitute this for that or can you get me this or that. All of this is fine but when it comes to tipping he gets out his little calculator & gives a straight 15% or less minus any taxes. Most of the time I will leave a couple of extra bucks to relive my guilt.

toughest job i've ever had was bussing tables. i have nothing but respect for people in the food industry who are good at their job.i tip at least 15%.
i think poor tipping shows a lack of character.
