When the Bears/Vikings spread first opened on Sunday night, the Bears were -3 +110. Anticipating a huge amount of early bettors jumping on the Bears, I bought the hook and placed a big bet on the Bears -2.5 -110. Now, as I expected the line has moved to -3.5 -105.
I do expect the Bears to win this game, possibly by a lot, but the opportunity has now arisen for me to place a big bet on the Vikings and possibly win both bets if the Bears win by exactly 3.
Does this seem like a logical move? Should I hold off a bit longer and wait for the Vikings to move to -105 or +100? Or, should I just keep my initial bet, which already looks like a great investment, since I think the Bears will win this game by at least 3?
