FILE - In this Nov. 9, 2009 file photo, Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., is seen in Detroit. Conyers, the powerful chairman of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, had his driver's license suspended for a month this summer when a check he used to pay the renewal fee bounced, according to state driving records obtained by The Associated Press. Spongey... just a thought, but if he's a Dem, I'd suggest calling Newt Gingrich's office and telling them this is their chance to blow the lid off this thing before Fox News gets wind of it. Remind them that jaywalking is not just the seed from which fascim grows (everyone knows that), but that within every jaywalker lies the dark heart of a Nazi socialist who's jaywalking represents a symbolic treading upon our Constitution, if you will. I'd even go so far as to suggest that jaywalking represensts a clear and present danger to the preservation of our democracy as we know it!!! :SIB

He'd probably do same as Gumby did with his dozen or so tickets--and say F it- laws are made for others not me--and toss them until he's running for office--then promptly pay them and remark he "over looked" all of them.

--but to his credit have to admit I've never heard him once in 2 years referring to leading by example on anything. :)

Trench The tough times was in reference to bouncing check --apparently all figured that out except you and sponge bob.
