Took the nite off and went to see my daughters school East Stroudsberg play.It was D-2 or 3 and it was an exciting game.
Duke over Seton hall *
Small play.Dukies struggled with BU for about 14 minuts.Then they started to put up the real defense and got there offense going.No need to go into the Duke players.Reddick,Williams,stop.
Hall played great D and beat Manhattan.Held them to 26% shooting.But they were outrebounded by the smaller Jaspers and gave up 23 offensive bds.That has been a problem with the Hall. Tonite if they give up 23 off bds those will be 23 dunks.
Gaines played tough and Whitney again inside can play.But Coach K will go right after him getting him into foul trouble.Hall gds cannot create own shots.That will be there problem tonite.
Duke did not play well vs Boston U winning by 20 or something.Think they will be more focused vs a BE team that is just avg.
Small play and really should pass tonite.But in 2004 in the NCAA"s Duke beat the Hall 90-62.Close to that tonite.
Texas over Samford *
smaller play then the above.Texas loaded.Samford plays motion offense with its backdoors,down screens,etcThey use the clock so there defensive stats are great.Barnes is a jerk and likes to run up scores in non conf games.Lyr I was there when he did it to my alma mater North Texas 86-57.He pressed with 4 minuts to go,got some turnovers,etc and got a 30 pt win.He beat Texas St by 32,Coppin by 36, and Centenary by 42.He did play UTA and UT-San Ant closer.
With Samford playing ball control Texas will come out and play a little more aggressive defense trapping,etc.
A small play because Samford could frustrate Texas and keep the score low.
Best bet Toledo in football over No Ill ***
