Where it is real F ing COLD
Just back from series in Milwaukee. The Giants will be lucky to win 60 games. They have a couple of goop young pitchers in Cain and Lincum but Zito has lost it. His curveball just doesn't have the bite it had while in Oakland.. Nobody is afraid of his fastball. The lineup that they pose is about the most punchless bunch I have seen in years. Their cleanup hitters over the past few days were B. Molina and R. Durham. :mj07: I just think this team is lucky to score more than 3 runs. I think we should ride the under unless Zito is pitching.. Saying that he may turn it around.. Have to pay attention to his curve ball..

Also we should of bet this team under the season total of 72 wins. I think this is going to be an easy cash..

I think u should start doing what i like to call "THE GIANTS CHASE" which is bet against them in every game. If they somehow win 1 then double down on the next. There is no way the will win 2 or 3 in a row all year.:mj07: :mj07:

The Giants are the 2002/2003 Detroit Tigers, in terms of offensive prowess, or lack thereof.

Now I don't think they will lose 100 games, because there pitching is above average, and the Tigers had HORRRRRRIBLE offense and HORRRRRIBLE pitching those two years.

BUT,

Statistical projections, and common sense indicate they will have one of the 10 worst offenses in the modern baseball era (compared to league averages etc.)

Now a youngster or two could have a breakout year, or Durham could suck less than last year etc. but 95 losses and lots of unders seems to be the way to go.

The bookmakers will likely adjust to this quickly, if they haven't already. Lots of 7.5 or 8 over/unders and lots of +175 and beyond. They might swing almost too dramatically, and there will be value in taking the occasional over, or +180 to win, etc.

Should be interesting, unless you are a Giants fan like myself. :nooo: :sadwave:
