We all have house guests, and parties to give and attend, so I want to throw out two really good choices for Cabernet wine to serve that will not break the bank.
I love to bring out the good stuff from the cellar this time of year to share with great friends and people that appreciate a good glass of wine, and to see how well it is aging. But for those that just want a "glass" of wine, or for your everyday drinking (no KOD, don't drink wine EVERY day, but most, yes), try the following:
Kalbarri from Southeast Australia, found at Kroger and supposedly one of their "brand wines" they purchase. This week, regularly 10.99, but now 2 bottles for 10.00. Don't doubt me on this, trust me.
Also, Snapping Turtle Cab from California, same great berry taste, and enjoyable to drink. Also, this week, 2 for 10.00.
Just grab a few bottles for the season, you will be happy you did, and your friends will love it. Love to hear what you guys and gals think. Merry Christmas!
Jack and IE, we still need a smilie that is toasting or drinking white wine. Any help?
