IT hit 6 11 12 3 three longest shots on the board paid $35,000 plus ;

largest tri ever in tracks history

Winner i had for $5 across the board he was named Now Weve Got em #6 horse followed by #11 Alabama Gold cannot remember the 12 horse name I won hundreds on the winner and was angry at same time so mad i almost busted empty seat in front of me.

winner was 25 -1 2nd place was 55-1 3rd was 35-1

August 14th 1969....
On that day could of had a ticket to go to some upstate music concert...was working at an amusement park all summer making mucho money working 12 hours a day...just graduated from HS and in about 2 weeks was off to North Texas State...my 3 best friends tried to get me to go and my boss actually gave the weekend off....but NOOOOOOO.. I wanted to make the extra bucks.....the next day as I was making banana splits in the park I heard on the radio that the NY State Thruway was closed....it was Woodstock....actually in Bethel,NY.....I still hear from my buddies....they went there and lived it...and to this day it was the greatest event in their lives.....and I was cutting banana's...it started on Aug 15th...if only I could go back to the day before...:142crying
