Just curious as to what MJers got for their 1st cars. I remember my well. 1966 Pontiac Catalina 2+2. Red with white guts, 4-speed and Cragar mag wheels. What a cock wagon.:D Hell I even an 8-Track tape player. Paid 950 dollars for it. Got this car at the start of my junior year and wrecked it at the end of my senior year as Manglin Martha Stevens pulled out in front of me on a rainy morning . Funny thing ole Martha actually got 2 of my buddies cars also. :D Man those were the days.

1997 Toyota Tercel. The "anti-cock" car. LOL. It was dark blue, great on gas and cheap to insure. I was married at the time, so I never had to worry about it trying to score me any chics, b/c the only kind of chics I may have scored would have been fat ones!

74 Dodge Dart Swinger:eek: It was the ugliest brown color you have ever seen. I used to pull up to the gas station and say "check the gas,and fill it up with oil":D

my first car was a 1962 powdered blue ford pinto, with stick shift on the column that i bought in 1969. the next year i demolished that car when i decided to take on a tree.

My first car was a 1987 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 (trunk model)

It only lasted me a week as a beat the crap out of it banging gears. But then again, I only paid $200.

If everything goes well, I hope to purchase a 2004 Viper ACR

I test drove it yesterday and OH MY GOD, talk about power and it's definitely an eye candy car.

Now only if the dealer agreed to accept my offer.

Taoist, Boundbook, Kdogg, bahamama, hailmary, TJBELL...

check your email tonight, going to send you some pics I took yesterday with the car.

;)

Plymouth Belvedere II- don't even remember the year. Put in a tape deck that cost more than the car. As far as the ladies- Good dope & music like 'Bread' or 'Nilson' meant lots of skinny Hippie chicks. Anyone recall the saying "dirty feet, dirty ...":p

1981 Volkswagon Rabbit diesel. Got about 45 miles to the gallon, but needless to say, a slow ride. It did have a pull out knob right below the dash, however, to help it get warm in the winter so it would start. I told all unsuspecting riders in my car that it was the turbo knob. I would demonstrate by pulling it out; I would then downshift and floor the gas simulating a power surge. Many people actually believed that

His name was Turbo, and he was the only male car I have ever owned. I guess everybody else here names their cars, correct??
