Just when Youngstown State's mens basketball coach John Robic felt that things were starting to turn his way, another major obstacle has crossed his path.
Freshman forward Brian Radakovich, who has been partly responsible for the Penguins recent success and who had earned a starting berth in his first year, is lost for the season.
The 6'7" Radakovich had career high performances in the last 2 games as he scored 13 in a loss to UW-Milwaukee and 12 points with a career high 8 rebounds against Wright State.
If that wasn't enough, sophomore forward Khari McQueen suffered a fractured foot in practice on Monday and will be out 3 weeks.
The loss of Radakovich and McQueen puts the Penguins back to just 8 players on the active roster.
