BAM in the US, Bam.a on Toronto has managed since 2000 to return 23.5% annualized. BAM has many companies or subs, in real estate, infastructure. they also manage money for pension funds, and most of these spinoffs pay management fees to the parent company. have had a small position and have been waiting for a pullback to by more.

hopefully I can buy this cheaper, but this is one will be a holding in my portfolio for quite some time. believe they can make 10% going forward on an annualized basis.

thanks

bam and ibb

hope you are doing well woodson, have bought bam.a $40 and sold half at $45 cdn. (bam.a Cdn/bam US), it is trading in the middle of this range. will buy more if it drops around 5%.

Also looking at IBB, hope to get slightly cheaper, but will slowly build up a position, as a long term hold.
believe valuations are a little on the high side, however not at all worried about rising rates.

the fed will raise in December and then another 25-50 basis points if that all of next year. there is just to much debt in the system and rates will stay lower longer, longer, longer.......

thanks
