Ortiz doesn't look good today, Glaus being out has already hurt as TB scores due to a throwing error from spaz that could have ended the innin.....oh and did I mention that run was a lead off WALK....G. Anderson got picked off first in the second after being the leadoff on base.....wow these guys are in a funk!

Whew....that was a close one! Well, I wanted to start out with only one game and wait until it finished before taking another, but originally liked the Mets and A's today as well and now looking at their scores I am starting to get that ol "second guessing myself worry". I am sure you all know what I mean, where you start out strong 2-0 and then see that 2 other original plays you had wanted to play are winning significantly and think to yourself OH NO, this means I really could be 4-0 if I had played them + they both still come out on top......

So now I think to myself, do I continue with my plays even if these two win which means I am sure to lose soon if the first 4 that I liked all won. I capped and capped and thought the strongest was the Ana ML and RL so just went with that! I have a plan for the afternoon as well and will post it soon. What the hell, today is:

RALLY DAY!

Back soon and thanks for all the cudos,

Blue Jays @ Yankees

(BLUEJAYS)

- Won 8-0 over yanks yesterday in a rain shortened game.
- Have now won 5 straight over Yankees in Yankees Stadium this year.
- Have gone 16-1 in Halladays last 17 starts.
- Halladay has won 14 straight after Toronto lost 4 of his 1st 5 starts.
- He has allowed 2 earned runs or less in 12 of his last 14!

(YANKEES)

- Had five game winning streak snapped last night in an embarrassing 8-0 rout. (rain shortened or not)!
- Have lost 5 in a row to Jays at home.
- Yanks are 76-40 when Pettitte starts (40-13 @home) career.
- Pettitte is 7-2 in home starts this year.
- Yanks are 7-0 in Pettitte's starts since June 14. His ERA (3.65).
- Pettite is 15-7 career vs. Toronto while Yanks are 19-9 vs Tor in his career starts.
- Pettite is 2-1 vs Toronto THIS YEAR, Yanks are 3-1 in his starts. His lone loss was to Halladay back on May 22nd in front of his home fans....REVENGE?
- Yanks won 1st 5 games this year vs. Jays by an avg of 5.2 runs. Won 6 of first 7 games but have since gone 2-6 in last 8.
- Yanks just won 2 of 3 in Tor from July 11-July 13.
- Yanks lead overall series this year 8-7 and can take it all in their last meeting of the regular season tonight.

Following are 2 paragraphs taken from the Sporting News.

"Halladay has won 14 straight decisions since losing his first two starts of the season and with a win tonight he will
(MATCH ROGER CLEMENS' team-record for consecutive victories which he set in 1998.) His winning streak is the longest in the majors since Clemens won 16 in a row with the Yankees in 2001.

NOW MY THOUGHTS

I think this will be a very high emotion game for both teams. Yankees and their fans are not going to let Clemens down in his year of retirement easily by allowing for his record to be matched vs. the Yanks IN THE BRONX. Pettitte is a proven Veteran who has thrived in these "playoff type games." He builds off of energy provided from his hometown faithfuls and is out to REVENGE an earlier lost to Halladay at home. Halladay has been great this year and I am really surprised we haven't seen a tired arm develop yet this year as much as they have utilized him. Yanks can wrap up the season series vs Toronto in the Bronx while keeping the Rockets record intact! Look for last nights lack luster performace at the plate for the yanks to explode and end tonight what has been an exceptional run for Halladay! Yanks will prove tonight just how good they are when poised. We also get GREAT VALUE IMO thanks to opposing Halladay and the Yankees current losing streak in the bronx to the JAYS.

OK Here is the rest of the card!

"Colorado is now 16-35 on the road, scoring just 4.0 runs per game. They are an amazing 4-22 on the road vs winning teams. Jennings has an 8.27 ERA in his last 3 starts. LA is 16-7 at home vs Colorado the last 3 years. Nomo is 7-2 in his career vs the Rockies. He also owns a sparkling 2.84 ERA on the season."

This helps add some validity to myself in my last BIG play tonight. Thanks for the rare colo road win last night.

LA DODGERS ML -175 (10 UNITS IF BET "if yankees win)
( 5 UNITS IF BET "if yankees lose)
