Well, lets get the shit out of the way first. I have been very pleased and frankly, amazed, that we haven't seen more shit threads than we have this year. That's the thread where losers are blaming everone but themselves for being in the position they are in. All my plays are my own, win, lose or draw. It appears that I am the kiss of death for Ray (Sea last night and a few others this year) and my other good buddy Fletcher (I nailed him on Phil two nights in a row), when my play agrees with theirs.
The truth is that we have had a lot more winners together, this year and in the past, than losers. I'll also guarantee that both are way ahead for the year in their overall sports betting.
Most of these threads this year have been started because Pete (NDNfan) is having a bad year. He's down right at 30 units. Now I can understand your being unhappy because you are losing (I am probably the world's worst loser). That reminds me of what an old gambler told me when I first started. "Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser". What I can't understand is the insinuation that any pay service has been responsible for you losing. All gambling is making choices. Make the right choice and win, wrong choice and lose. You chose to go with a pay service that is currently behind. If you were winning, you would be a pretty smart person but since you are losing, it's a different story.
Maybe this will help put it in perspective. When I first started betting on sports I was doing pretty good. Mostly college basketball back in those days. I found a pay service site on the internet. This site offered a free pick everyday so I put it in my fav and started going there every day. He never missed. He was 10-0 the first 10 days I went there. I had found the goose that was going to lay the golden egg and being the greedy SOB that I am (remember, I was doing pretty good on my own) I hired my one and to this day, only pay service. He gave me 5 plays a day and only 1 winning day in the next two weeks. His free play hit at about 70% during that stretch and it was one of the five he gave me everyday. Since I had paid for the rest of the season at a discounted rate and it didn't take long for me to find out that I was as good as he was, I didn't get hurt, much.
The point of this story is, I have absolutly no ill feeling toward this man. A lot of you would have called him a scam artist. He was a valuable learning experience for me. I found that by doing the work I could be as good as anybody and better than most. I also allocated an amount for his bets (bankroll) and played a unit system that I use in all my sports wagering. The only person responsible for those loses was ME.
There is no reason for anyone to lose their bankroll betting baseball. I am going to say something you losers have heard before but it's worth saying again because until you learn it, you will remain losers. The secret to gambling is money management.
Now I have written my book for this current baseball season. As I said to start with, we have had less name calling and BS this year than I can ever remember in the past. There should be one and only one reason to be at Jack's and that is to try to make everyone here a winner.
