SAN DIEGO / HOUSTON UNDER 33 -- DOUBLE PLAY

It's hard to imagine either of these teams putting up many points. Houston has been lethargic in pre-season, with no runing game to speak of, and a wary offensive line that has not provided pass protection. Texans were routed last week in Dallas and should be more motivated to win here -- which suggests a conservative defensive-oriented game plan by Dom Capers. Meanwhile, San Diego has not looked good in either pre-season game played, thus far. Chargers marched up and down the field last week, but had serious troubles in the red zone. I expect these difficulties to continue in this game. Furthermore, both QB rotations in the 2H look to be dismal with Cleo Lemon (awful) for Chargers and the hideous Tony Banks mopping up for Houston (what is this organization thinking having Banks in the lineup?...are they insane?). Niether coach shows much in pre-season -- especially Schottenheimer who has given indications he will not be taking this game seriously. That likely means another dull game which should fall under this number. PLAY UNDER for two bets.
