We have finally proven that for now, the Tigers have given up on the season with an ugly display of baseball the likes to which we tend to only complain about when we have our wagers on the losing side.

1) Anaheim Angels S. Shields -1.5 +101 (1/2 unit)

2) Anaheim Angels ML -156 (1/2 unit)

The other day I mentioned save some money for when Det finishes against Minn and KC. Well here is for the season:
Vs Clev 3-9
Vs KC 2-10
Vs Minn 1-11
The math: 6-30

let's hope Detroit continues to be everyone's punching bag, cause i'd like to be up +30 units by season's end, and continue my +30 units average for the third straight season.

Well you know they will beat up on the sox. I think they are like 6-1 against them allready this year. that's 25% of their wins almost.

7-10 to be exact

yeah, they tend to get up against the CHI SOX....can't figure that one out.

BUT, now that the three teams they're going against in the last month are in a playoff race, I'd like to think that they're gonna HAMMER the Tigers.....

hey does Detroit typically get blown out, or do they keep it rather close? Im thinking of jumping on the anti-tiger train, just not sure if im going to take the ML or the RL as well..........

I believe they are like 11-13 in 1 run games.

probably the best time to take them (besides today) is near the end of the season, when some teams who are allready in the playoffs rest their starters.

FYI: last 2 months, Detroit has averaged 3 wins per month.

and last year in September, LOS Tigres won 5 games....

folks, let me tell you this.....

This 2003 Tigers will go down in the record books as having lost the MOST games of all TIME.....!!!

let's take advantage of it.

IF the Tigers can match their win total in September LAST year with THIS year, we'll still be up a few units...

let's do some simple math based on last year's Tiger's September:

september record: 5 - 21
let's say on average you'd have to pay about -190 on the ML
and let's say for the sake of arguing i'd lay three units down per game.....because i'd like to hit my target of +30.00 units for the season.

they LOSE 21 games x 3 units = +63.00 units

they win 5 games x 1.80 (you lose per 1 unit) x 3 unit bets=
-28.50 units

you'd be up around = +34.50 units

there, i've done the basic math.....i'd like to be up +34.50 units just by betting against this pathetic team....i CANNOT see them winning more than 5 games in the month of september....

and therein lies my september strategy.

U-T, since the all star break, they have been losing by MORE than 2 runs about 90% of the time while only winning 5 games and losing 30.
