I first want to say thank you for the welll wishes I recieved. It has been a very tough stretch for me the last 5 months. I lost my father to a long illness, after being his caregiver since February. During the same time period my mother became ill (cancer) and needed surgery and Chemo and radiation. All of which was happening during a very complicated pregnacy for my wife, and serious legal problems for myself. I'm happy to reportmy Mom is winning her battle, and my wife will give birth to our first child via C section on the 15th of September.
I ran an ncaa pool for Madjacks members with the best of intentions. Unfortuanately I let alot people down and due to my own circumstances was unable to pay the winners until now.
The checks for First and second place are going out overnight mail today. Unfortunately I do not have the address for the third place finisher so I ask if anyone knows how to get in touch with him to email me. I think Jack still has my address.

I want to take this time to apologize from the bottom of my heart to Jack and Grama and Ryan and the third place finisher as well as all the other people I let down.
Thany You for taking the time to read this.
Jeff

glad to see you're back, and sorry for all your personal problems. That said, seems like you could have made at least one post or emailed those involved during this time so they didn't all think you were a rotten sob liar. Hope the baby is healthy and that you mom goes into remission.

Good to hear from you Smashy baby! Just wish things didn't go down as they did for your loved ones. Unfortunately we all gotta go. It's something I'm dreading down the line(my parents as well as my wife's parents are all alive). I wish your Dad didn't have to suffer the way he did. I know it was hard on you. Great news your Mom is rebounding. We all wish her well.

Congrats on the newborn. One suggestion, and I mean this, don't watch the C-section! My wife had 2 of them. My boys were 9 lb 10 oz. and 10 lb 11 oz. Big suckers! Watching 3-4 people basically standing on top of your wife trying to force the kid out is very distressing! Just be prepared. Love on your wife these next 2 weeks. She's gonna need it more than ever. Just remember all the hard work she's put in to carry your 1st child.

When the little one arrives, I'm sure you'll see a little of your Dad in him/her.

Let us know when you're a Daddy.

I'm so glad you posted. I knew there must have been a damn good reason why you weren't around.

Take care my friend.

Smash,

Sorry for your loss, hope your Mom continues to recovery and congrats on your new child. All the above are what really matters,
irreplaceable....

The measure of success is not the amount of times you get knocked down, but the amount that you get back up...

way to comeback ;)

Again thanks..I appreciate the thoughts.. I posted this only to take care of the obligation I had, and to finally catch up for what had gotten away from me, in a time that my life had beaten me a little. Like I said I take full responsibility for what happened but that wasn't the real me. I could never purposely steal from anyone. I understand how it must have looked.
I don't want any sympathy. Everyone has problems. Some deal better than others. I did not deal well and Im not proud. As soon as the checks clear I consider this chapter of my life closed.
Good luck Madjack Members in all you do.
