ytd 14-6, +16.1*

There are a few I want to get in early, and first and foremost is WVU -9.5, 4*. First 4* so far for me.

This line seems to be a mistake. Everyone is on it, so I'm hoping we're not suckers. But there is no choice but to pound this one.

ECU cannot run the ball, has no quarterback, and cannot stop the run. Bad news against a team that can run the ball like WV. I don't see how EU stays within 20 points.

More in a bit.

Hehe, thanks for the kick in the ass weasel. Been busy and didn't wanna force anything.:moon:

UNC/Cuse over 52, 3*
Two terrible defenses. UNC should be able to air it out against Cuse's pass D, which has a few converted RBs in atop the depth chart. UNC run D is gonna have trouble against Syracuse speedy backs. UNC is going to have a lot of young kids on D after the vets were embarassed last week. Both teams gave up 30+ per game last year and probably aren't much better, if at all.

Tennessee -19, 2*

Marshall in the last 4 years is 0-4 Su and ATS on the road non-conference. Lost to VT by 26 last year and to UF by 35 the year before. Marsh 0-7 ATS after non-conference game. Tennessee as a home fave against non-sec teams has won 13 of past 15 by more than 19 points, mostly blowouts. One of those 15 was instate rival Memphis, other was S. Miss.

I don't know how Marshall is going to stop the run without giving up big passing yards, or run the ball consistency.

Only concern is this is a look ahead for UT, playing at the Swamp next week. Still they should win by more than 20.

Cal -2.5, 3*
CSU is terrible after playing Colorado and I expect another letdown. They have lost the last 5 ATS following the Col game, and last week's was a tough one to get over. Now they have to fly out to Cal for a game against a team with confidence after a rout of S. Miss. CSU looks prone to the big play and Cal is capable of making them. I don't know if CSU has enough in the tank to win this one.

Kent + 29, 2*
Whether or not Rutherford plays, this is a generous number. Pitt has gotten a lot of hype but its still there first game and Pitt is coming off a big win for its program. Cribbs will be good for some big plays in this one. Pitt traditionally is very bad as a big fave. Kent with 10 full days of rest could make something of a contest out of this one, so gotta take the points.

Maryland +15.5, 3*

(Will wait to see if this goes up at all before actually calling it in

Call me crazy but I think Maryland has a chance to win, or at least play it to the final minutes. Maryland hasn't lost to FSU by less than 14, ever. Fat Ralph's been kicking their asses all week. The NIU disaster was the first loss as a fave since he's been there and I see a big bounceback here. Perry should be ready to go for this game. I'm not that impressed by a blouwout against a bad, bad UNC team.

I may take a small bite on the ML if it gets up to +500.

BC + 10, 3*

PSU looked very vulnerable last week in beating Temple. They were actually outgained by Temple at home! Meanwhile BC basically dominated Wake but made a bunch of mistakes down the stretch and gave up 20 points in the fourth quarter of a SU loss as a big fave. They'll be fired up here, and they have more proven players than PSU. BC could win here.

"What the hell parlay": 1* to win 20*
Maryland + 16
BC +10
WVU -9.5
Kent +29
Tennessee -19

last ones

last ones

(hope I'm not playing too many games)

1* each
Akron +25 -- capable of putting up 24 here, if they do than UW will need 50

S. Carolina +3' +fresh QB on the road in a hostile environment giving more than a FG. And UVA has been a very poor road team in recent years. USC will stack the box and dare Martinez to throw deep.

GT +9 Thinking Auburn might have blown their wad. GT is tough at home and its gonna be a madhouse. Also like the freshman QB Ball a lot.

Wake +8 -- Look ahead for NCST with OSU on deck. Also, about 75% of Grobes games at WF have been decided by five or less. WF is banged up but they'll be able to run the ball and make it interesting. Huge game for WF program to make a statement.

7-5 today(not including parlays)
ytd 21-11, +14.7 (including parlays)

kind of a rough day as, of course all my one *s hit  , most of which I just used in parlays. The others were hit and miss. Hit four out of five on two different five-team parlays, one of which would have been big big bucks because it had BC and Wake MLs, along with S. Carolina, Akron... and, of course, Maryland:mad:

The lesson learned today is don't doubt yourself. I really like all those ones I listed as one * but I thought I had too many plays and I was second guessing them too. Wasted them on parlays and barely broke even because of it.

Also, turns out WVU was that easy after all.
