Yup, got one also................non major class action lawsuit. I always join these things & go for it, either as a member og the group or on an exclusion. This will be my 10th or 11th one, most work out to give you a lil something, anyway. And some turn out surprising, just when you dont expect it.
A couple of years ago they class actioned me for suit against an insurance company that I had dealt with some 7-8 years ago. My wife, also both of us had a bit of life insurance with them. I had 5-6 class actions before that and had always joined the member group and received not much. So, I gambled this time and excluded both of us from the group. The lawyers were impressive and thought our decision was a good one. And kept us up to date on a monthly basis, which is a rarity in itself.
Anyway..............to long story short it, we held out & held out longer and finally wound up with over $40,000 after the attorneys took their cut. Let me tell ya, I was never so happy to give away $20 thou (to the attorneys) in my life. And to boot, the bad deeds by the insurance company didn't even come into play with us or our account! They were bothering other folks.
And, No, to answer the question a few of you may have..............I didn't fund any gambling accounts with it. Didn't even put any in the market as I am prone to do with extra cash. It sits in the bank for some leverage and a rainy day.
