Hey, I got jumped last year when I said they would go to Philly and win the NFC Championship so bring it on.

My thinking......they've already won their SuperBowl so now they play for immortality, dynasty, blah blah. There is not a better defense on the planet. They build even more confidence going on the road and demolishing the Eagles tonight. My boy Brad Johnson at the helm. he just doesn't make mistakes(that interception didn't look to be his fault).

Anyways, later in the year, if I can figure out how to look up this post, I'll bring this back up and you may call me Nostrodamus(sp).

Go Bucs!!

TB is the team to beat!

TB is the team to beat!

Well, first off, I would like to say that Tampa is for real. Watching their game yesterday vs Phily, they obviously didn't lose a step and are continuing from where they left off. Defense is HOT and will dismantle almost any offense out there. Chucky is a real coach who knows how to deal with his players. He speaks to them and hides nothing from them. He has them all on the same page and motivates them each game. Did you see Sapp as TE catch that ball. LOVE IT.. and I am sure Sapp loves it!

Sportsaholic, I dont know where and how you see the vikes will score 49 points on the TB defense. If that was just a joke, I don't think anyone agrees with you unless there're drunk, high and on crack all at the same time :D

Nole, I dont know about going 16-0 obviously since it is the NFL where anything happen but their Defense is SUPER and their team is the same team from last year. Offense is the same, they score when they need to but the difference here is the Coach. Chucky has them up for every game.

Bucs will make the playoffs without a doubt in my mind. I took the bucs to win over 10 1/2 games this season as my only future bet and I feel very confident after yesterday

BUCS TO THE BOWL!!! BUCS IN THE HOUSE. Next week against Carolina?! Much of the same will happen. Low score for Carolina and the offense takes it slow but TB will win :D

Peace and GL to all. Follow the Bucs boys, they have more heart that 10 NFL teams and a coach to boot.

I agree tampa great shot to return to super bowl, but no way they go undefeated, cmon only happened with Fish back when they played 2 less game, etc

i do think they could go 12-4 and U win your future

I have them 7/1 to win SB and 4/1 to win NFC

however IMHO i see this carolina game as being very interesting to gauge where gruden has their minds after obviously pointing to their game for months--what an effort ... after seeing the Fish get beat by Texans i honestly believe anything, not that I never didnt b4 hehe

long year and a couple inj. away from being side swiped

as U prob know super bowl defenders cover app. 38% the next year--lotta guns pointing at the champ in any sport

Vince Lombardi once said, "It's harder to cling than to climb."

A true champion repeats what he started, Tampa has ability to do it, now is Gruden going to be mentioned with the immortals? or will tampa slide back like Pats/ravens/rams have done in recent vintage.

Nole - I don't know ya and I'm not taking shots at ya but I was thinking the same thing after week 2 last year. Pats thumped Pitts in the Monday night opener 30-14 and traveled to NY Jets and thumped the J-E-T-S even harder on a short week by a 44-7 score. Belechick was a god, Brady was terrific and all was right here in Patsland. Then they barely got by the Chiefs in wk3 and then the 4 game loosing streak.

I'm not saying the same is happening for your boys but for every week this year - the Bucs have the target on their back. For the "lower tier" teams, this is their playoffs & super bowl all wrapped into week 6 or 8 or whatever the schedule says. It's not gonna be easy and I wish you the best this year. But if there is any letdown, don't be surprised.

BOL with your Bucs & picks this season

I agreed with everything you said. I guess after Carolina disappointed me and didnt do much against the Jags, I dont really see them doing much against a Bucs team we saw last night. Anything can happen, but damn I hope they get there 11 wins and go to the bowl for both of us :D

GO Bucs Go. Miami is my team which I have loved for years since I started watching football but they did disappoint vs the Texans. Strange things like this happen in football but I guess we all learn that it is still a game and thats why they play the game.

GL with your future picks, Just checked thegreek and see that TBay is +600 to take the bowl. Might put something on that just for kicks.
