Buddy, I can't remember a time either my friend, thus the word gambling, and boy do I love it.

I'm confident every time I place a wager. There are two reasons for that.

1. I don't play large enough amounts to hurt me.
2. I simply don't make wagers that I'm not confident are going to win.

I'm surprised more people have not said #2.

Last week

When I bet the largest play of my life on Missouri -14. Normal play for me is 250-500 a game. I had 5k on Missouri. A little worried in the first quarter, not for long though. When I placed the bet I was extremely confident....and will be again when Ball State plays Pittsburgh...:thefinger

dawgball says it all.

If you're not confident the bet's going to win, then you probably shouldn't be placing it... The fact that the money I'm using has been set aside for this purpose, and this purpose only, probably makes it a little easier.

hehe i was pretty certain fish had a chance vs texans on my ML bet

i did like west virg, tampa bay, and my texas tech/wv tease

just wanna repeat I have gambled for years and never made the mistake I did on dolphins with -450 ML (meaning i had never taken a ML risk b4 in neg. sense), had great weekend % and still lost huge amount ... please heed this, im still pretty down about my idiocy/bad luck combination, but it can happen ... be smarter than what my feeble mind allowed me to do, take one HR swing and not even get a meek foul ball but a crushng backward K

hehe, now I feel like art schlister trying to give back during oratory in a 12 step program

with my bankroll severly limited, we plunge on knowing life is always good when we have our health

Lot of good info in here Dawgball I agree wholeheartly.

mjbarley you said a mouthfull :

""set aside for this purpose, and this purpose only, probably makes it a little easier.""

Edward Mush & Omar,..... I had the same play with Mizz and yes it was a bet against Ball State as much or more so as a play on Mizz.

I really liked Oklahoma St too, and as I stated I would have played it @ 3% instead of 2% had I gotten a better start on the season.
