season record: if not right you can blame horns(lol).
sides 11-12-1 -9.24 units
totals 9-1 +15.20 units

2*arizona state-24(-143)---asu coach has a history of having a great home record, to get the fans in a frenzy. this is utah st. last stop on a 3 game road trip. the first 2 games were against running teams.this asu team will give usu a different look by throwing the ball all over the place with well thought of qb,andrew walter, who koetter believes will have a very big year. utah st. is 2-11-1 ats as a double digit road dog, while asu is 6-1 ats as favorite in it's last 7 non-conference games. koetter is a very enthusiastic type coach & think this positive energy will rub off on the players & the fans.

good luck

adding:

2*oregon st-19(-141)---i read that big home favorites do well following a loss as road favorite of -7 +, when favored by 15+ at home the following week. ats record is 42-20. oregon st. is 15-2 ats. at home & new mex. st is 0-8 ats in last 8 road games. in addition new mex. st. likes to rush the ball, feel this plays into oregon st. strength on defense allowing 1.8 ypr. & 61 rypg. think that osu will take out the fresno loss in this game.

2*notre dame+11.5(-138)---this is a dog series with the dog having a record of 13-1-1 in this series. nd is 17-5 ats as a dog in their last 22 & is 7-1 ats in games against teams with a better than a 60% win rate the previous year. i'll take the points against a team who has not been tested yet this year.

good luck

adding:

2* oklahoma-27(-140)---fresno starting qb is out for the game & backup up grady is probable(got pretty beaten up vs. osu). a comparison to the tenn. game, imo is relevant because both tenn. & okl. have very tough defenses.vs. tenn., fresno netted -1 yd. rushing, only 118 yds. passing, & punter had 11 punts for a very low average of 32 yds. per punt. in both of their games fsu rushed for a total of 59 yds. running behind an off. line that is hurting. against osu, fresno had 5 int. & only scored 16 pts. for that game. on defense fsu has given up over 400 yds. per game. the question is okla. motivation for this game, after playing alabama last week & ucla next week. stoops, to me, seems like a coach that doesn't take anything for granted, especially after fsu's upset of osu & knows their offense hasn't looked good so far this season, & would like for his team to maintain their #1 status. i think ou comes out strong for this game.

4* colorado-2.5(-140)--this team & wash. st. have a pretty even team, talentwise. wsu coming off an emotional loss to notre dame last week, where they blew a 19 point lead only to lose in ot. colorado is playing their 3 rd game in a row in the state of colorado & has a huge altitude advantage in this game. think the situation strongly favors colorado.

a couple of unders that i played this week are:

2*mich/nd under 46(-140)
2* so.car./geo. under 41(-143)
2* usc/hawaii under 60(-150)

good luck

nice post and good luck this weekend.

that dame game just scares the crap outta me and may have to go with michigan if the line drops or pass. probably just a good game to watch imo. lotsa wacky calls in that game i bet.

as a side note the weather for all the colorado games should be pretty ..lets say "annoying" this w/e.. they say high of 54 and possible rain snow mix. probably just cloudy and windy is my guess.

its hard to recommend n. texas but im considering it.

later.

thanks for your replies, guys.

beertime, i'm just took n. texas. i'll take their defense & think that they will play a respectable game.

mastercapper,

i understand your view on oklahoma. i just think that they will put on a strong showing vs. a battered team.

good luck, guys.

adding these:

2*under 57(-148)marshall/toledo---i read that marshall qb is very questionable for this game. i think it will take time for 2nd string qb to get a handle on pruitt's offense. so think that marshall will play conservative type game.

2*louisville+5(-140)--think that louisville has a more balanced offense than syr.with shelton as rb, & lefors at qb. syr. def. is pretty bad , especially in the secondary with 1 starter returning from last yrs. team. syr. def. gave up about 340 yds. to n. car. last week, so think louisville with their new hc (used to be auburn oc) will do very well vs. syr. also don't overlook the fact that syr. won a 3ot game last week & louisville was off last week. ot games tend to drain the players out & more often than not come out flat the next game.

2* n. tex.+10(-141)--- nt is 9-1 ats, under coach dickey when they are playing an opponent off b2b su wins. are 4-0 ats when they are on the road after they score 35 or more points. they are 18-9 ats in last 27 games.

2*northwestern+5(140)---nw has averaged over 200 yds. in passing & rushing per game so far this year. miami gave up 227 rushing yds. to iowa, so think that nw will gets it's yardage & are more balanced than miami

2*iowa state+6(-148)---a system that i read pertains to this play. teams that start season 2-0 su & ats with both victories as favorites are 25-58 ats if favored up to 34 points in the 3rd game.
play aginst---iowa, fla. state, minn., & michigan this week.

2*hawaii+23(-150)---with a new qb this year, don't see usc pulling away in this game & think hawaii's spread offense might cause some problems for usc

2*penn. state+11.5(-140)---paterno is 9-1 ats in b2b ats losses. a system that pertains to this play states: play against a non-conference favorite of 10-13 pts. when off a su win, but an ats loss. this angle is 33-18 (63.8 %) since 1985. play against mich. state & nebraska.

2* byu-1(-120)---highly thought of dc coach mendenhall, who was dc with new mex. is now dc at byu, so should be familiar with defending n. mex. offense. also like the more sophisticated byu offense vs. n. mex. offense

good luck
