Thanks you very much for the kind words, guys. Good luck to you all today:thumb:
I made an above avg play on the Over in anticipation for the line move. The wind is supposed to pick up a little more to close to 20mph blowing out to center/left center, because there's a front moving thru in the evening. Etherton is a fly ball pitcher, and Wood is neutral at best. Wood is also coming off of 3 straight outings where he went over the 120 pitch mark. The strikeout numbers also declined in those 3 games serially......11, 9, and 6 in sequence. His numbers are way worse at home and in the day games. I don't factor in fatigue that much, but 2 of those 3 games were in emotional series with the Cards. I thought there's a good chance that he'll have some mental lapses during the game as well as a little fatigue set in. All he's gotta do is to hang a few of those curveball with runners on base and we have a great shot at hitting the 8, with Etherton doing his part, giving up a few runs along the way. And the Reds should have some runners on since Wood's been avg-ing close to 4BB/game since late June.
9.5 would have been a no play for me, but 8 was too good to pass up. Hope some of you guys got to hit it at 8, and we could have winners all around if the total falls at 9
Now for us Over players, let's hope we get some nice help from behind HP
Good luck, everyone!!!!!!
