thanks can't believe my leg broke that bad by just walking and it will put me back to square one on rehab because it is the same leg go to ortho at 10 to see when surgery is, i need to find out from sixfive alittle more about this type of fracture they say looking at 10-12 pins plus the screws i have in my knee, all drunk drivers that hurt people should be put in jail for at least a year and i really mean that since it has happened to me now , they say it will take another 10-12 months to heal right ontop of the 6 months of rehab i just wasted on the knee.

thanks for the note feeling pretty down right now but nothing i can do about it. except work hard at rehab again. but still very depressing had only 4 more months of rehab left.

thanks

Eric

On the course!
I didn't know about the accident.

It's kind of funny what you say about these drivers going to jail. This is truely one crime that people think they won't ever commit. Sure, folks drive drunk all of the time, and most will get away with it their whole life. But what happens when you do finally strike out? Or what happens when it is someone you love who gets smoked by someone who does what you might laugh about at work the next day?

A truely senseless crime that is most often caused by an over inflated ego. "I'm fine!" Or, "I know what I'm doing." A taxi ride, or designated driver would be a hell of a lot cheaper than going to jail, or paying a huge fine, or even sitting in prison for vehicular manslaughter.

But, no matter how many times people read about these occurances, it won't change a thing for them......they are bigger than the problem.

Recover quickly, sir.

well when it is a state trooper who hits you head on while on duty in a police car, I think he should be in jail but they will pay and pay deep trust me on this. and also was across the bridge in the wrong state , a state he did not work for so yes he should get jail time.

And if you were faced with all i have gone through and lost 35 to 40% of total leg use for life i don't think you would see it as kind of funny what i said.

Fletch,

I meant "funny" in the fact that I feel the exact same way. Most people don't think of this as a crime, when it is!

Is it irony or humorous or what - that less than a week ago others were lambasted in another thread for chastising a fellow MJ'er who got arrested for DWI after blowing a .18 and driving up on a curb where some family could have been walking. When Marine chastised people for giving him advice to help him get out of it, HE was the one yelled at and made to feel like a moron, not the guy who blew .18 - which I think we decided was 14+ drinks in 5 hours - and drove home.

Sorry to hear this Eric, take this bastard to town. Get well soon, you'll be playing golf in no time.
