IOWA 34 MICH 9 ....2002 IN DA BIG HOUSE!

Something tells me that this game has been circled on the calender since the schedule came out. (Iowa) They handed it to UM last year in front of their homecoming crowd. Revenge factor will be huge!

UM has been scary good in revenge games. Granted, Iowa was the better team last year, but people forget how banged up Michigan was (especially on the OL). Chandler will be a sitting duck this year. No way those young OL will be able to handle the heat.

Just and FYI

Iowas O'line is not young. 3 sr's , A soph , and a redshirt freshman , Ferentz ( Coaches Son ) at center. The Soph is a 300 pound transferr from Auburn a highy touted H.S. recruit who wanted to come to Iowa to play for the best O'Line coach in football. Robert Gallory, All AMERICAN, and Sam Aiallo and Peter McMahon srs who have been with the program their whole careers, it's just a matter of time and this O'line will gel as one of college footballs best again this year. Chandler is no slouch either..Big Physical QB, who can shock you with his elusivness and uncanny ability to escape and scramble and ind the open reciever. Our Defense is one of the nations best, Matt Roth and Abdual Hodge will light you up, JOVAN Johnson and Antwain Allen are great cover corners, all these guys are sophs except Roth who is a junior and didn't redshirt. Then there is BOB SANDERS AND Coach Norm Parkers ability to shit people down. NO WAY Chis Perry will get 100 yds in this game. Navarre will have to beat us, and that big slow footed overrated lug will be the one running for his life come Sat Oct 4th. Iowa's excellent special teams and defense , along with the home crowd will take Michigan in this one once again . Remember we should of one the last two games against Mich, if it wasn't for the luckist catch ever, (next to Davidsons famous husker kick catch against Missouri) by Marques Walker in the back of the endzone 1 handed. That was the only thing that punk ever did in is career. Mich better just be prepared, because The Hawks are still hungry, their goals have not yet been accomplished untill the earn respect. Kirk Ferentz is quikcy becomeing one of the top college coaches....It's a long season boys and Iowa is still one of the defending Big 10 Champs. Be prepared ........

iahawk, fine, Iowa is unbelievable. No way Perry gets his yards, and certainly no way that Navarre could throw on that incredible secondary. I think I will pass this on to Lloyd. Maybe he'll just cancel the trip, forfeit the game and tell the team to get ready for Minnesota.

Christ, you guys win one (shared) Big Ten title and Iowa is the second coming. I can smile knowing that, just like NW-Illinois-Wisci-Purdue-PSU before them, Iowa will fade back into mediocrity while UM and OSU rule the Big Ten.

CWOOD97.....

Maybe you should of just forfited the game! QUACK QUACK!

And by the way...if you go back to 1980...Iowa has just as many Big 10 Titles as Mich.....oH AN By the way your last National Title was also a "shared" title...too bad ...Methinks Michigan is fading into medicrioty!

Your safties are the best in the Nation? HA!
Bob Sanders is 1st team All-American....will be back just in time for the Mich Game

Obviously we all know now how OVERRATED Notre Dame is this year again.....and that reflects on how OVERRATED Michigan is again.

A few quotes and notes from you:

First, I can only assume UM will be ready to play in this one. The seniors have too much experience losing on the road to inferior competition to allow the team to lose focus.

Well once again they lost to an "INERIOR COMPETITION" So Michigan is OVERRATED! Don't forget when you assume something it makes an ass out of you and me.

Regarding Lloydball, I don't think he can call off the dogs even if he wants to now. In the past, UM would get a lead and run-run-pass punt. Now he does the same thing, only Perry or Underwood rips off between 10-20 yards on those first two runs. The OL dominance prevents him from keeping the score down.

Good stuff there buddy, but methinks no one let the dogs out today!

Methinks they will continue to cover until the public picks up on it.

Methinks the public has picked up on it!

I know I sound like a homer, but lay the 8 points guys

Methinks You are a Homer!

iahawk, clearly I took ND for more than they were worth, and that caused me to think that UM was a great team. Well, they're not. They're simply a good team that will contend for yet another Big Ten title and Rose Bowl.

Did you seriously think I wouldn't call you out on this one: "And by the way...if you go back to 1980...Iowa has just as many Big 10 Titles as Mich". Per cfbdatawarehouse. com, Since 1980 UM has 11 Big Ten titles, 7 of them outright and four shared (like yours last year). Iowa has 4, one outright and 3 shared. For the record the Hawks have NEVER won ANY kind of national title, shared or otherwise.

Regarding college gameday coming to Iowa City, it seriously will never happen, even if your opponent is a legendary team such as Michigan. Want to know why? Because NO ONE outside of the state of Iowa gives a rats a$$ about the Hawkeyes. Thats why when you have top 25 matchup, your team is relegated to the 6:00 slot on the deuce. So go back to believing that your team is "on the rise" and will be contending year in and year out like the Michigans and Ohio States of the world do. Everyone in the real world knows that Ferentz will fly that mullet coop the first shot he gets at a big time job. When that happens, its back to the basement. Pound your chest while you can chief, success never lasts long for also rans like Iowa.

Stating that Iowa has more Big Ten titles than Michigan was so funny, I almost fell on the floor laughing. Only a drunk Iowa City student could come up with that.

Well what I meant to say was Rose Bowl trips...go back and count them!

Ferentz had the chance to fly the coup last year against Jacksonville...he didn't ...he don't care about the money and WILL coach Iowa till Bill Cowher leaves the Steelers because that is the only other job Kirk will take over coaching his beloved Hawkeyes!

All I know is that Iowa doesn't cheat to get where they are at...Ohio St had Clarriet...cheater and Michigan football will soon go down just as their Basketball team...bunch of cheaters.

As for Gameday comeing to Iowa City , they already stated they were gonna . Depened on Michigan though, but since they can't win I guess there is no need for them to come to Iowa City to watch another complete Hawkeye Domination of Michigan...Also if the Buckeyes were coming this year they said they definatey would of came to that one. But they still are waiting for the right game to come there...They were at our Spring game for christ sakes! IOWA was one of the 4 elite teams in the country Gameday wanted to visit in the spring...Did they come to Mich? Hell NO! ...Is Michigan on ESPN national Broadcasts as much as Iowa, HELL NO! Last year we had 6 or 7 games on ESPN National Broadcasts alone! This year will be just as many, why because people give a rats ass... The only reason people watch Michigan is to watch them lose. and ABC Don't count as a national broadcast...I would rather be seen by the entire country, not that regioanl crap at ABC....I live in Iowa and had to watch the Oaklahoma- UCLA game...couldn't even watch Michigan get POUNDED by the ducks! QUACK QUACK! So go back in your little Michigan is so great dream world, because saturday Oct 4 you guys will be exposed and slowly fade into a Mediocore team playing Loyld Ball!

And another thing Gameday has been in Iowa City before not to long ago ! So get your facts straight!

THE END....I DON'T WANN HERE ANOTHER PEEP FROM YOU TILL OCT 4TH!

PEACE OUT BROTHER!

and who you calling a jackass? I beleave you started all this bs by cutting my team down after I offerred my valid opinions on why to Oregon. I made money on the game, lots of it too I might add. And if you wearn't so blinded by all your glory you could of won some money too. Michigan and Notre Dame were simply overrated, nuff said, I could actually see that by watching that game, as someone who actually knows the game of football. You got all excited after beating Notre Dame and started touting your team as one of the best ever, with the best QB and Safteys, the best O'line the best front 7, the big mighty powerfull Michgan.

Well I apolgize abt this too to anyone who was drug into it, but my points were validated and I'm richer this week because my points were obvious.

Now in the past as some of you know I used to post my picks for Iowa games on this board, but I will not do this because it is Obvious I am a hawkeye fan so my opinions are biased. But I capped the Michgan Oregon game and it almost landed on my exact score. I am here to make money too, not to sit and argue with some high and mighty Michigan fan about how dominate Michigan is gonna be this year.. If you read his previous posts before the game was played in here you might think this years Michigan team is one of the greatist to ever play the game of college football.

The name calling is completelty uncalled for and imature. Madjack isn't gonna toletrate fighting, namecalling and bashing anymore. If you read the post I made in Madjacks post where I was man enough to apologize to Michigan Fans and that I do have respect for the Michigan program then maybe you could rethink about calling me a jackass.

Nuff said....end the dam thread now and may the best team win on Oct 4th, but it will not be a cake walk for either team.

AMEN AND PEACE OUT BROTHER!
