hey guys, I am from NY and hate the yanks as much as the next guy, they lost this game badly today, but dont you think you're all being too pre mature? Jeezus, let them go down 0-2 and have to go to minny, then say they suck.....if they win game 2 its 1-1 and they have the mo' going into minny, I wouldnt leave them for dead yet, just my .02, Ive seen them look horrible many times in the playoffs last few yrs early and great road team, Im a Mets fan, just being objective, todays effort was horrible though, especially giambi and bernie

I was at the game today..THEY LOOK FLAT..

i am laffing my balls off because they try too buy all the players and they also are " Cockblockers " when other teams try to get players.

It is early, but an early exit would be nice.

:D
Up yours Yankees---:thefinger

I can't believe that Torre started Giambi against the lefty Santana today. He is batting about .190 against lefties! Put the f*****r on the bench, where he belongs! And Johnson had multiple opportunities with runners in scoring position and shit himself every time. They have one player hitting over .300. They are overrated! I can't believe I was stupid enough to bet the over today! Go Twins.

I agree, Giambi stunk it up today.

I'll say the same thing I said the same time last year during the Anaheim/Yanks ALDS series. Yankees are NOT the same team they were under the early Torre years. They now play station to station baseball (sans Soriano, Jeter), whereas the Angels were better at manufacturing runs.

Twins in game 1 were clearly the aggressive team on the bases. I still see a low scoring series here, Minny gives NY all they can handle. Twins seemingly playing with more passion and remember they made it to the ALCS last yr before losing to the Angels.

OK guys, the yankees have made the playoffs something like 9 years in a row and they have lost game 1 of the first round i think 3 times and all 3 times they have come back and won the series. Last year they decided to win game 1 against the angels and lost the series. You have to remember you are talking about the yankees, they dont panic, they can lose the next game and still come back and take this. I may be a BIG yankee fan , but that is why this is a 5 game series.

Until the Twins are jumping up and down in the infield winning the series it's far from over. Yes you don't want to lose your first game at home but anything can happen.Every National league team has the yankees on their minds to face in the World series.....Why? because they are the most sucsessful team in all sports and everyone knows it.....kind of trying to knock off the king of the hill.......

It's far from over............
