Seems like the Braves used most of the bullpen guys in their arsenal today. IMO Zambrano has the best stuff of any pitcher on the Cubs right now and most of the big bats from the Cubs come on the right side. Seems unlikely that the Braves could go down 0-2 at home but stranger things have happened. Gotta look at this game more closely.

now here is a matter i agree 100 percent; Zambraono is a bulldog, and does a great job of keeping the ball low. Hampton does not really impress me, and like you noted, Cubs have big bats in righthanders. Zambrano one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball; however he is not better than Prior. Can't wait for Prior to toe the rubber. But defenitely will be looking hard at the Cubs, believe they can win but a run-line play keyed up in some parlays might be the ticket. Good luck
GL to you, too. RLs seem a bit high to me on the pups this postseason, probably b/c of the low totals (duh). Looking at Cubbies ML but may take a look at ML as well. Maybe un, too b/c I just really see Zambrano bringing some smelly, stinky, shite-smelling filth to the mound tomorrow.
While Zambrano has good stuff, he has been terrible recently. His arm looked dead in many of his recent starts. This could likely be due to him stretching now into October for the first time. I would not count on a big performance from him.
I love the braves today. I was hoping for a Cubs win in game1 so that I could pound the Braves in Game2. Hampton is mentally tough and Zambrano has shown signs of mental weakness of late. I look for the Braves to rip Zambrano early and Hampton to keep the Cubs in check.
